How can someone be a Seam Specialist, if they are rubbish at bowling??
They specialize at batting against seam.

ohh now that would make sence.
So is it same with 'Openers' if they are rubbish at batting? They open the bowling?

If you hover over the talent, you'll see what they specialise in. An Opener is only good at batting. If he is bad at batting, then its a wasted talent. A New Ball Bowler gets a bonus when opening the bowling

Master Q

Opener = Opening Batsmen

New Ball Bowler = Opening Bowler

Luigi talents are random. For example some bowlers are gifted at keeping.

Luigi197

ok. so i really shouldnt be training on what they need to be worked on, just what they are in my team for. got it :) thank you!

Secondaries (Endurance, Fielding, Power) need to be trained pretty much always, but Primaries (Batting, Bowling, Technique) normally only one is meant to be trained, depending on what they are in your squad for. Keeping is only for keepers.

Luigi197

should i still be training Seniors on Primaries?

Fletch74

An example would be Herman, your 28yo RFS, he has Gifted Endurance, therefore he trains faster in Endo than other skills.

He also would need to be trained in fielding, as it only poor. Although this will only increase at a slowish rate due to being 28. At this age Power/Endo are the best to train in. He doesn't really need Power though as he is a spinner.

Master Q

Luigi, I think you need to go over the game rules section.

I can come over whenever. As you are starting out, pick your own lineup, play it for one game, then the next click suggest orders and determine which one is better.
