Also Luigi, just looked at your seniors and you have 25 in there :o. I'd fire quite a few of them before training so that the ones you keep can get the most out of their training.

Fire the seniors from lowest wage up (under $1,000) as you will be getting rid of your worst seniors and list cloggers.

Keegan Bray in your Youth team is a your STAR for your Youths 8). Elliott Herman was a bargain at 8k but his wage may be a little too large to handle at first. But we'll see ;).

Before i started firing, i gave my players roles just to see where i have the most players, then fire from the worst up. Leave about 13-16 seniors

Was deciding between http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=532821 and http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=86688
At one stage i was bidding for both, but i decided to go for the Pom as he was younger. got  him 8)

I've fired heaps of players now.

That's a good amount. If you find more seniors (from the original squad) that aren't up to scratch, don't be afraid to fire.... especially if their wage is less than 1k.

Is there anything bad about getting someone to train as an All-Rounder if you really can't decide what to train them on?

CrowsFan

It trains hell of a lot slower than anything else

I don't think so, but i'm not much better at this game than you are. I have 5 guys (combined) on All-Round training.

I tend to go Batting or Bowling for all rounders. During this time, A tech pop will come up to let it catch up :P. If not, 2-3 weeks of Tech will catch it up.

I don't do all rounder training as well as it's a long term plan but takes probably over a season to get the pops from that kind of training.

How can someone be a Seam Specialist, if they are rubbish at bowling??

Luigi197

And im also REALLY confused in someone's training program.
I'm not sure what to put them on..
They might be a senior who is bad at Bowling, but if i put him on bowling, it most likely wont rise, so i put him on fielding.
But a youth is rubbish at everything, so i put him as an all-rounder.
So i end up with all Seniors for Fielding, and all Youths for All-Rounders.

Helpp!! ?

They specialize at batting against seam.

You put your players on what you want them to be good at Luigi.

Don't put a good batsmen on AR training, if he is in your side purely as a batsmen, same with Youths.

Fielding/Endo/Power training are secondaries and need to also be worked just like any normal person would work on them, whether they're a batsmen or bowler.

Remember it takes a number of weeks for players to pop, so don't think they're going to pop every week.
