what would a good player rate and a youth player?
and is it just one rating overall? different for each position?

Yeah, the levels are:
Atrocious=0 rating
Dreadful=1000
Poor=2000
Ordinary=3000
Average=4000
Reasonable=5000
Capable=6000
Reliable=7000
Accomplished=8000
Expert=9000
Outstanding=10000
Spectacular=11000
Exceptional=12000
World Class=13000
Elite=14000
Legendary=15000

No there are 7 skills- Batting, Bowling, Endurance, Keeping, Fielding, Power and Technique.
So for example my guy was-
Batting- Ordinary
Bowling-Ordinary
Fielding-Average
Keeping-Reasonable
Power-Dreadful
Endurance- Capable
Technique- Ordinary
Then all up his rating is 25000 (plus Spare ratings, which you will learn about later).

It is if you persist with it for about 2 weeks. The first 2 weeks werent that fun for me because-
A) I sucked
B) Barlow kept trying to scam me to buy crap players by sending me numerous pm's.
