i still consider heppel a keeper on the field people are still playing spuddy voldt so why not play heppel. Anyway at least you have him alot of people got rid of him, good luck to all those people i think you made a mistake though. Im very happy with him as my 7th backamn.

dcmagadia21

same with me as well. didn't know that heppell would do so good against the cats, let alone the whole team doing well against them. his 100 might change my mind in trading him out.

cannot understand why you would consider trading heppell out. long season, he is guaranteed to play every game and usually plays well in a backline field that has been average this year.

he has started every game for me this year i think.

Good to hear some love for Heppell as a keeper... especially after everyone started jumping off after a few bad scores... an 80+ average for the rest of the season is good enough for me, I'd rather save the trade for finals or a major injury.

Well you need that trade saved to offload him for your grand final... unless he sits on the bench. But when a first-year skinny kid starts pulling 50s, of course people look to offload him. I didn't have the trades to do so but I'm flabbergasted at his performance tonight, not 1 tackle but 100 points, he has renewed my faith. Heppell, you're a ripper!

Been trading hard to stay in the elim... Was going to go Heppell > Scotland until Rischi out this week...

now only 3 trades left and 174K...

Heppell is there fo lyfe.

LaHug

I struggle with the weekly decision of Heppell or Stanley. Seem to have gotten it wrong again...

Possumo

Yeah of course he's gone for the GF (if I get there!), but my main point was that a lot of other premium backman have pulled out poor scores this season (he has only had 3 scores below 76 for the entire season by the way), and hence I thought he would still be a solid option. Even the ever consistent Scotland scored 74 this weekend!

Hah, only 10 points though, I wish I had Stanley too :P

Hah! Who would have though Heppell would have scored 26pts more than Scotland?! I've got 6 trades left myself, but I'm saving that for Lower to Suckling (he is currently my 7th) after the Hawks bye, and of course injuries and the finals.

Heppell is a MCG specialist, yes this was a docklands game, but you HAVE to play him for every MCG game over Stanley IMO

He has a low score of 81 at the MCG.

Heh nice I hadn't even noticed... just looking at their run home now, 3 of Essendon's next 4 are at the MCG... none in the finals though :P Let's hope he can keep up his form at Etihad for the final's :P
