I have 7 trades left and $176,600 in the bank.

How is my plan looking?

Next week (Round 16)

Heppell/Hibberd ---> Scotland
Lower ---> Shaw

The week after (Round 17)

Krak ---> Callinan
Smith ---> Goldstein

This will leave me with 3 trades for finals and a complete team

My projected team:

Scotland, Gibbs, Deledio, Enright, Shaw, Goddard, Adcock --- Stanley, Heppell/Hibberd, Puopolo

Boyd, Pendles, Thompson, Mitchell, Swan, Selwood --- Iles, Jacobs, Mzungu

Cox, Goldstein --- Lobbe, McCauley

Fyfe, Johnson, Sylvia, Goodes, Franklin, Riewoldt, Higgins --- Callinan, Howe, Lynch

thoughts on my team and my upcoming trades?

U Need GAJ somewhere in your Mids!! I'd Probably Go Selwood For Him! Not sure on Goldstein (even though his average is great!) Maybe look at Griffin. Higgins?? Nup to Incosistent look at Someone Like ROK,Chapman or Pav. Also get Fisher NOT scotland!!

Second the call on Fisher over Scotland, and I'd also take Broughton over Shaw. With the likes of Silvagni and Hayden back, and Suban due in a few weeks, Broughts will spend more time on the ball, where he is racking up the points in a big way!

Also, if you can spare the trade,  defo go Griffin rather than Goldstein (McIntosh due back soon), and if Sandi does return this season, you will probably have a trade spare to move him back in if you need to.

How bout Big Sauce Jacobs instead of Griffin? He's been doing well and after the multi-bye next week, no more byes for him. I kind of like the look of Goldstein, but come to think of it, he has a bye in the finals. But he is so good. I don't know. Also, I just got Higgins in last week so don't wanna waste a trade to trade him out right now. And I would probably get GAJ soon (but he's too expensive now, more expensive than before when we was only $400k).

fisher over scotland for me as well... I would take shaw over broughts and Goldy over Griffin.

that's pretty poor advice. Goldy will play the year out (barring injury), and there's no certainty that Hmac back will even depreciate his scores significantly- he could make up for the lost HOs with more disposal action.

Broughts has been ridiculously, absolutely ridiculously inconsistent this season. Freo looked in doubt to win this week at one stage- and that's against GC- IMO, getting him in for a couple of weeks, only for his role to change again, seems a bit useless.

The Selwood to GAJ trade is just moronic, Sure GAJ is on absolute fire atm, but selwood will be coming back what, next week? or the week after? firing all guns- if you've held him this long, don't trade him. Ablett is close to 500k now... you have to spend 50k to upgrade selwood to him- ridiculous.

Griffen dominated this week, but is that surprising? Rucks dominate the goldcoast. Helped that smith got injured as well.

Basically, I would consider Goldstein/ Mcevoy for the rucks, certainly consider Fisher strongly for your defence- no more byes left. Shaw works well for the second def. as well, as he doesn't have any byes left.

Thanks Ziplock. I sure now will get Fisher and Shaw as they both have no more byes left. I had Broughton at the start of the season and traded him out because he was showerhouse. I don't want to trade him back in because of a sudden spurt of brilliance after his inconsistency. I have been eyeing on Goldstein since the pre-season and was always gonna think that he will do well without HMac.I think that it will be fitting for Goldy to be traded into my team. I'll defs keep Selwood as getting Ablett is a waste.

Gold coast played 3 rucks and out of those they subbed gorringe then smith got injured and then fraser got injured.

Griffen got like 100 of his points up to half time though? He's definately tearing it up but Sandi should come back and limit his output...

Ziplock

sandi'll come back and he'll get dropped. Again. Which sucks.

I doubt that actually I think he's playing well enough up forward to still get a gig. Zac Clarke will probably get dropped before him but if Harvey has any sense he'll play all 3, subbing one out late in the game (if Freo don't cop an injury which like, never happens).

Zip, for those still with Sandi do you think it's a no brainer to go Sandi -> Lobbe? It'd make my rucks:

Cox, Petrie, Lobbe, McCauley, Tippett

Obviously playing Petrie or Lobbe forward. Brings me down to 3 trades but $700k in bank.

I'm not sure on this one- I would be in an almost identical position as yourself (except smith, not mccauley).

I think I may hold sandi- it all really depends if smith is out this week or not.

im playing lobbe as pernamnet 2nd ruck with vardy and moran for cover
