Is Goldstein the most underrated ruckmen in the comp?

Or am I just overrating him? I swear he gets no love from anyone. Someone just said that they feel Ottens has been the best ruckmen in the comp this year, first off I think that's horseshower, I'd take Goldstein 10x before I took Ottens. Also Cox is clearly the premier ruckmen in the comp.

What do you guys think?

i'd say he has been underrated this year, and no way is ottens the best ruck this season, id have goldy, cox, mcevoy before him (although i may be slightly biased with mcevoy :P)

Cox, Goldstein and Sandilands have been the best ruckmen this year, in that order. Even though sandi has missed a while his output before that was amazing.

Yeah when I saw you said Mcevoy, I thought to myself wtf? Lol.

honestly i rate mcevoy this year though, only fisher has been better for us IMO, he is more of an around the ground ruckmen though, not great with the tap work

Yeah I agree. Goldstein is looking like such a good player this year. As only I got him at the start of the season...

simple answer when isnt a player from the roos underated, the whole team is and always is. My faovurite year was 07 we were tipped my most to finish bottom and came 4th, people were saying in round 5 we were a bottom 4 team.

Not sure how we did, you look back at their list and it's not like we've lost to many great players from that year. You know you've got guys like Shagger and Simpson (Warrior), who had their games where they were amazing. But no real absolute game changing key position players, just a nice balanced team I guess.

I'll never forget going to that final we played against Hawthorn, they were coming off the back of that amazing performance against Adelaide and everyone was talking about how we couldn't stop Buddy and they were going to win. Players were beating up Harvey and we still won even dominated. Best game I've ever been to.

Anyway fair way off topic now haha.

i would probably se he should be a good shot for the all Australian bench, not sure how HMAC will effect him and how they will share the ruck time. Simular probelm to hille and ryder, hille has been played out of form i think and i dont want that to happen to either of these guys.

McEvoy is top 6 for me.
He is definitely underrated.
Goldy doesn't get love, makes me sad :(
