Looking at Brad Ebert scores from full games/last year and he can pull out some big numbers. Will he continue to be used as a specialist sub and is he worth getting in at a very cheap $172k. Are there better option at his price? 10 Trades left looking to down grade for extra cash to get Buddy and finish my team.

Problems

Don't know much about him but he's averaged 36 over the last 4 games and has only had 2 good games this season, that's enough to take him off my radar.

Possibly the return of Kerr and also LeCras in the midfield has affected his scores, may be other arguementa but I can't see him avg'ing 80+ for the rest of the season

Fenno

Just grab someone like Callinan who is cheaper and will score better.

PowerBug

Callinan's JS is probably better than Ebert's, as Ebert can't make the 21. Could be unique, but there are better options.

Chopps

i would have to agree make more cash and get callinan

I'm a wce supporter and I honestly can't see him fitting our structures next year. Might be sent to port to join his brother? Possibly...

Get Ian Callinan. Much safer bet :)

ROOKIE MONSTER

Also a west coast supporter and he may struggle to get games for the rest of the season, may not even make the sub given the WAFL form of boys like Koby Stevens, Andrew Gaff and even Chris Masten...... Yes you know that bloke who calls himself a number 3 draft pick!

LOL interesting proposition - if he was at this price at the start of the season I probably would've backed him in as he gets alot of the ball (uses it terribly) and Woosha always played him. But that doesn't seem the case anymore so DT wise and in terms of his place in the Eagles he'll struggle for the rest of the season. Even at his price, Ed Barlow (191k) would give you better service.

As an Eagles fan I'm glad to see Ebert finally out of the team.

That's a great fit for both clubs. If we could snare Port's 2nd or even 3rd round pick for Ebert I'd be delighted.

+1 and LOL about Masten! Even though he's also struggling, I wish we got Rhys Palmer instead...

His price will be about $185k. I watched the game and thought he was great is he worth the price at $185k. He should get more game time after his performance last night.

Yeah looked awesome last night I must say. I'm the first person to bag him generally but he was wicked last night!!

Bluke

His dispoal still lets him down. That miss kick of his in the last qtr should have resulted in a much needed goal.

Still a win is a win. At 180k he is a bargain provided he doesnt get played as the sub. TBH with Butler Waters and Lynch lookinng to come back in that team I dont have a lot of faith that Ebert can avoid the Sub spot. Granted Butler is still 3 weeks away but Waters and Lynch will be back next week.

BTW. How crazy is the Butler Waters curse. Those two have only played in like 20 games together over their careers. As soon as one gets fit, the other gets injured. Waters comes back from his elbow injury and butler does a quad. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Straight swap for Bewick if you're looking for cover?

I think Schofield will go for Waters, Swift for Lynch next week & Mitch Brown coming back very soon also... would we drop midfielder to play him? Depends on matchups I guess but I see Ebert as pretty safe.

Yes the Butler Waters curse is amazing, I was talking about that over beers with Eagles fans last night. One time they did play together was the 2006 Grand Final.

Bartel a better pickup next week I think but not the worst if you're strapped for cash.

Ebert a definate for my DT next year if he keeps this kinda form up!

Good call for this week. But every spud has his day!
