Do i do a double and get Sam Fisher ? or
do i take a punt and do a straight swap Hibberd to Gram ?

Fisher with a double trade- he's shown much more than gram this season, is a far safer option.

So whos the better defender - DT related

S.Fisher - no byes, very consistent but not renowned  for big 100's,

or

Suckling - hawks are playing keep-e-offs style of football out of defence where they chip it around, which means big points, while being cheap, they are still points, but hawks have 1 more bye

Am trading out Lower this week for one of these boys

Honestly, the difference between them on poitns average isn't much- fisher is a hair cheaper, a more proven premium, and has no byes left.

Don't get me wrong, I love suckling, but if I had to choose between them atm, I would pick fisher in a  heartbeat.

Quote from: Ziplock on June 30, 2011, 08:15:13 PMI would look to Mcevoy, since he has no more byes left and has been firing.

If I trade to McEvoy I'll be left with 5 trades and $10,800 in the bank.  Is this enough trades/money to have left, considering I will want to upgrade either a rookie forward or Yarran to a premium (I'm thinking Fyfe after his bye) at some point?

so with a double trade, 3 trades will be a bit tight. But  think of it this way

fielding bailey over mcevoy is like a 30-40 point loss each week. Fielding a premo fwd over yarran is like a 20-25 point loss each week. Seems clear which one is worse :P

Ok, I'll make a decision tomorrow when I'm less drunk. :P

Problems

Zippeeee, got a few 'who should play' Qs for you

Backs (1 needed)
Do I trust JAdcock@home v Port
or Lower@home v GC
or Jacobs@Gabba v Bris
or Hibberd@Etihad v Geel

Fwds (2 needed)
NRoo@Etihad v NthMelb
ISmith@MCG v Coll
Prestia@Subiaco v Freo
CamRicho@Etihad v StK

Also how do you reckon Sam Iles will go this week? I've had to bench Sammy (who's provided great coverage over the last 2 weeks) with the return of Bartel and Montagna, good move or bad move?

Thanks pal

Adcock hands down

NRoo and Smith I guess, although Smith is a bit of a punt.

Bartel and Montag both deserve their spot over Iles. Fine move. That being said, he looks like solid cover.

PowerBug

Hey. I'm stuck on my two trades for the week. Sandilands down to who and Hibberd/Prestia/Didak up to Pendlebury.

9 trades, $24,700.

sounds good. I would consider fisher over Birchall though- no more byes left and has, from memory, a similar if not superior average.

Pitt should go- anyone from port adelaide gets first dropping priority :P

Hey PB.

I guess if you're forced to downgrade sandi, rather than sideways to mcevoy/leuen/goldy, then lobbe is probably your best bet- his DT stocks have risen with the retirement of brogan at the end of the year,  + he's mpp (if that tickles your pickle).

*facepalm* my bad. Looks like you might as well- seems doubtful he'll get more games, cut off the deadweight. Doesn't really change my answer.

Unless you're in elim/ running close to first place and overall, I would just hold. Cox + Smith will have their byes over and done with, bailey should provide adequate 3rd ruck cover till sandi returns.

and urrrg- very punny.

Alka

Simple one (hopefully) from me this week.
Who to start: Hibberd or Jacobs.

jacobs vs brisbane is a far better prospect that hibberd vs geelong.
