Usually get a big crowd for the Pav Cup games so always aim to play in the biggest stadium. I'll be lucky to make it past round 3 considering my opponent :P.

Dirkjan Wilmink - I'm going for him hard. 300k as he's a perfect Batter for me and his fielding is set. Not to mention His captaincy :D.

I think I should win round 1 of PC but I think I will struggle with round 2 if the favourite wins his 1st round match. If he is not interested and tanks then I think I can beat the other guy.

Picked this guy up to captain the side for 1K... I know his endo is a downer... but I figured I could captain him, bat him at six...

Which would then enable me to relieve Sweeney of Captaincy and bat him at ~no.4

Therefore I prob won't need to waste fitness training on Sweeney for a while and can turn him into a real Keeper/Batsman gun! Instead of a mediocre Keeper/Bat/Captain who spends half his career training fitness so he can handle it...

4.2K spare ratings by my count off the top of my head... so close to a pop...

So what do you think about buying that guy for 1K captaining him, then bringing Sweeney up the order to really shine! Sweeney = cap/cap summary in only Ordinary form... just wait until he's in Reliable from for my team :D

I'd probably start secondary training him ASAP...

Reas endo though so he can bat out a few overs... I don't care if he leaks a few runs in fielding early on... Himself/Stone (both openers) would just need to see out the first 10-15 overs in our SOD match so my middle/lower order bats can give it a real crack. My current bats fall too early.

Am I crazy for getting this guy? He might end up going for more than I can afford though, but hoping his low total rating + poor power/fielding scare others off and I can pick him up for 11K or less.

That'd give me a LH/RH batting combination, whilst yes I know that's not a huge boost, but it all counts... LH/RH both openers... couple boosts there does help a bit :)
