Figured I needed a FAST bowler so I picked this guy up...

He's REL/CAP with 5.2K SPARE RATINGS :) (by my possibly incorrect calculations)

fielding is a worry, but it's similar to my entire team  ::)

Hopefully he'll pop in tech tomorrow... how important is fielding? I've got a bunch of rel/cap cap/rel rel/rel players and I'd prefer get them to acc/acc or acc/rel by next season rather than training them on something as boring as bloody fielding  ::)

Spot on with the spare ratings Nails .. fielding is very important as bad fielders leak runs which could be the difference between winning and losing.

fielding trains not just fielding and keeping skills it also improves tech and is helpful in closing tech gaps

Fielding DOESN'T train keeping Cic. It only trains fielding (approx 90%) and the other 10% goes to technique and endurance.

Depends on who you ask Nails. Some say it's not as important as primaries. For me, I like fielding to be fairly high (Reliable) for my Seniors as it saves wages (in comparison to primaries) and still saves runs through fielding checks. Keeping trains Fielding but not very fast. This is why if my Keeper needs fielding, I just train fielding. Fielding takes about 1-2 months to pop (depending on age). The younger they are, the faster it will pop, which is why I try to get rid off most of the fielding in the 20-22 range. Average-Reasonable is the best for a new team I'd say.

800k is quite alot FLetch O_O. No doubt he looks great and has the primaries + skills, I wouldn't go for that much :-\.
