With the WCE bye sorted, the Squad of Jets should look something like this:

Boyd, Pendlebury, Judd, Ablett, Mzungu, Harris (Priddis, Hibberd, I Smith [EMG])
Sandi, Z Smith (Cox, Keefe)
Pavlich, O'Keefe, J Riewoldt, Yarran, Rioli, N Riewoldt, Sylvia  (Darling, T Lynch*GCS* [EMG], Richardson)

Emergencies right? Batchelor, I Smith and T Lynch
Captains this week? Pavlich and Ablett the only two candidates.

Got $200,300 left in the bank, got 9 trades left and averaging 2,147.

Time to another upgrade and trade Sandi.

Goldstein and Petrie aren't an option anymore because of finals bye.
Mumford an option now?
While BB (bomberboy0618) is suggesting J Griffen from Frematle...

Keeping in mind the fact that I gotta save at least 4 trades for finals...
Swan, a defender and maybe a forward can be made.
Seeing Sandi will be a downgrade kinda, Swan is only 448k and most likely Harris will be upgraded.
But then again, gotta deal with Rioli, as he may have to be shipped to Franklin.

I'd get Hale in for Sandi, pocket another 270k and trade Harris to the crim as you suggested.

Lynch can cover Rioli this week and you can get Buddy in next week when he'll drop slightly

Last week I did Duigan and Matera to Newman and Sylvia.
Now have 200,300 in the bank but will change after a Sandi trade.

Hale? Averaging 59... (B/e 8)

But i thought, and assumed, that Rioli would be out for longer?

Well from a league perspective, theres really not many other options... seeing mumford will miss this week.

I don't mind McEvoy either, but I am not sure you will have the funds to grab swan if you go that direction.

safe/solid picks are coin toss between swan,pendle,murphy, gaj (leaning here).

if you want to go for a POD go

Pavlich or ROK both of these could go very big.

Barlow is likely to miss, but my concerns are with Ballatyne/Fyfe taking some of pavs points.  mids/fwds tend to dominate GCFC

ROKS record against adelaide is simply excellent.

Was slightly leaning away from Swan/Pendles as they are versing the hot Hawks, with the return of Buddy, but with the loss of Lewis and Rioli, you never know now.
Don't have Murphy, but GAJ has always been an option, yes it has never been a safe/solid option IMO because I never know what to expect with the GCS. But maybe it is time to switch my mindset to 'Safe on Gazza' ...
Everytime I have considered Pavlich, he fails me, and i have observed and resulted to, like you have mentioned, the side around him. I think I would be leaning away, but might take a reconsider after seeing some-more previews and articles in the upcoming week.
ROK? Is he (SC)captain material? Maybe he is against Adelaide...


But i still am unsure about Rioli in my fwds. r18 he will return, back for finals. But can i wait till then? In two of my leagues there is no certainty about a top 8 position, but currently am around the 6-9 position.
If i dont trade him for Buddy, he will have to stay on the bench for a month.
Which then reaches another question, when to pick up Buddy?

And With my current position with SC, only 2 more upgrades most likely will be made until finals?
