After a shocking start to the year, things have turned around and I think my team is looking pretty good!
Let me know what you think (remembering that I don't have many trades left).

Def: Gibbs, Deledio, Suckling, Enright, Heppell, Goddard, Adcock (Stanley, Duigan, Puopolo)

Mid: Boyd, Pendlebury, Mitchell, Ablett, Selwood, I. Smith (Jacobs, Bewick, Mzungu)

Ruc: Cox, Petrie (Smith, McCauley)

For: Pavlich, Goodes, Harvey, Riewoldt, Franklin, Chapman, Dawes (Howe, Richardson, J. Tippett)

Cash: $219,200
Trades: 6

Note that I have plenty of cover with DPPs and playing bench rookies. Each week, I often have to rotate people around.

What do you all think?

This week, I'm going Mzungu to Swan :)

My only criticisms are of dawes and the fact you didn't give mzungu time to fatten. I'd drop bewick over mzungu...
Other than that it looks really strong. Can you have a squizz at mine please ;)

Dawes is frustrating but I can shift him to the bench if I ever decide to upgrade Z. Smith (and bring Petrie forward). Also, I can't afford Bewick --> Swan and Bewick could fatten a similar amount anyway (looks good at the moment).
Yeah, I'll have a look at yours.

As promised, here we go.

Loving that backline. Very strong and full of byeless/durable consistent performers. Very strong cover too despite Duigan being out for a while.

Midfield is great. Your first five mids are (in my opinion) all in the 7 mids this year (i believe that Marc Murphy and Swan are missing but not having Swan after his last two months isn't an all bad thing ;)
Again, nice dpp.

Personally i see Smith and Petrie as starters. Also since you wouldn't make a ruck emergency i see Smith as being wasted on the bench. (that's not Mzungu as you fourth ruck is it? Pretty neat if it is ;))
Although, i don't reckon your fwds need moe firepower and smith will only score 50-80 so nice work there.

Now for your forward line.
As i said earlier i don't like Dawes as he relies too heavily on goals for his points. As you said though you can rotate your lads around.

In short though Mzungu -> Swan is a great move and completes your team ;)

I'd be tempted in upgrading Duigan and moving Heppell to the bench. Or as Elephants mentioned I'd upgrade Bewick over Mzungu, all it means is you'd have to settle for a cheaper premium.

Meant McCauley, not Mzungu. Fixed now.

Yeah, not a huge fan of Dawes either. But, the only player I'd be thinking of trading to would be ROK which I'd have to wait until after the bye for.

Yeah. However, I'd like to get Fisher in the back line somehow, but I may have to pass.

No way I'd get rid of Bewick if it meant missing out on Swan. Also, would love to upgrade Duigan/Heppell/Stanley to Fisher but can't afford it with lack of trades.

Swan will score better than Fisher ;)

Yep. Difference between Swan and Mzungu is approx 50 points a game. Difference between Fisher and Heppell is approx 20 points a game. I think I know which way I'll be going.
