North Melbournes Finest

Awesome Westcoast, I'm all for Melbourne based teams winning the Premiership, but having a good interstate team adds a good atmosphere to the comp.

I don't know what to think any more. That first half was good enough to beat anyone!

West Coast have beaten the competitions best 2 teams in the past few weeks (Blues and Cats), Collingwood are very lucky they don't have to play the Eagles again.

Did I read this wrong or are you saying that The Blues are better than The Cats/The Pies and the Hawks?

Yeah I think he is saying they've been the best in the past few weeks, rather than they are the best. IMO either way it's wrong.

I'm sorry Carlton fans but I reckon they are very over rated.
We are being pumped up a lot too but we have beaten Carlton and Geelong in the last two weeks...
Carlton have lost to us and been hammered by the struggling dogs today.

We will put that to the test this week Q! Bold words indeed.

Well done to the Eagles. I've always had a soft spot for them. And when champion players Cox, Embley and Glass (all amongst my favourites) are in form, and Kerr starting to produce regularly.... Completely different team.

My respect for you grows with every positive eagles post you post oss... <3

Freo has always been my favourite non-Victorian team (mainly because I love Pavlich), but it is very difficult to dislike this Eagles outfit. I am loving players like Embley, Cox, Priddis, Kennedy all playing well. It's so good to watch! I agree with Ossie that this is an entirely different team. However, I was very pleased that they managed to finish bottom last year because it meant my Tigers didn't! :P
