No, MP. The mods pay attention to the chat and ban where they see bad behaviour. Sometimes our collective attention wavers during the two and a half hours each game takes (plus 45 minutes of pre-game and 20 minutes of post-game), and we might miss a line or two, so this thread can be a second line of defence for retrospective bans. In the case you refer to, I missed a discussion that went on after the final siren to which you alerted me, and I applied the rules post facto with some bans.

In a perfect world where I had unlimited resources at my disposal, there would be multiple sets of eyes scrutinising every line in real time for indiscretions that would be immediately be acted upon. That is not always possible. I would ask for your patience and assistance in dealing with these matters.

Ultimately m0nty, you do have it at your disposal if you sought it out and asked. There is a lot of committed and respected members on these forums that would be more than willing to do as you stated so it is up to you to seek it...


But so far its been a good job well done with the chat. Now if only the forums work as well.

I do not even know why you have chat mods as they can not even ban people. What's the point? The only way this wil ever be fixed is if you impliment a free flowing chat with mods that can ban at their own discretion.
