Nails

so I'm still in the elim and making two trades to complete my side this week

Mundy > ??? and Lower/Heppell > ???

Now I have $132,600 to pick up two players from those two...

Therefore giving me exactly $760,000 to pick up two players with

Now I'm going for eliminator so players with no more bye games are a big hit with my side, along with Overall points.

Therefore do I get someone like Shaw and Rischi (no more byes = elim tasty), Shaw and Scott Thompson, Swan and Suckling

What to do D:

EDIT: Woops forgot to include current line ups

Backs: Goddard, Fisher, Gibbs, Delids, Enright, Heppell, Lower (Jacobs, Puopolo, Toy)

Mids: Pendles, Boyd, Rockliff, Redden, Ablett, Mundy (Nicholson, Mzungu, Hibberd)

hardnut

I have all the players you have listed. Shaw is not a good choice for eliminator as he can score sub 70 too often, much better total points option so Suckling is your man there. S.Thompson has a bye in the multi round which is also terrible for eliminator so get on Risky as I did last week and rest easy knowing you'll get 95+ every week. Hope to meet the Nailers in the elim soon  ;)

Ziplock

swan and ablett?

if you already have ablett, then swan and suckling if you don't have many hawks. Shaw and thompson if you don't have many out in the multi round. Won't consider like thomas and swan?

if you can afford it anyway.

Chichos

you might aswell click the 'remove entry from this competition' button. uve got no hope bud. sorry to say

Ziplock

havent put in rucks + fwds :P

don't know what chichos is on about, that gives you 6 premium mids, 6 premium backs (and a high class rookie)

pretty standard to what most people are fielding atm in eliminator.

Chichos

just joking mate. with the premiums he has, he should pull through and btw when does eliminator finish?

If you want to see my team... zzz

this will be it

Backs: Goddard, Fisher, Gibbs, Delids, Enright, Heppell (trading him or Lower), Lower (Jacobs, Puopolo, Toy)

Mids: Pendles, Boyd, Rockliff, Redden, Ablett, Mundy (trading) (Nicholson, Mzungu, Hibberd)

Rucks: Cox, Smith (Keeffe, Tippet)

Forwards: Stevie J, Buddy, Goodes, Higgins, Petrie, Sylvia, N. Voldt (Knights, I. Smith, Dixon)

Now what to do with my trades? Hmmm... 136,200... I'm thinking Rischi + Shaw = best option simply because NO MORE BYES, but might hurt my overall  ::)

hardnut

From an overall perspective Risky and Shaw are pretty good options imo.... do it! I'm bias as I have both!

Nails

Yeah would be good for no bye options... Funny that Swan is an option (with a player with a bye though) but I'm not absolutely dying to get him...

I thought my forward line was going to be my weakest line (in comparison with other teams) but it's fast becoming my strongest with Knights as the 8th...

I feel that Rischi and Shaw are good elim options but I really want a gun 6th mid... (and a back player with no more byes to boot)

not just An okay mid and a good back player...

hardnut

I'm playing Risky as 7th mid - sounds extravagant but chose to keep Selwood and have Swallow, Gibbs etc so wanted the top shelf cover for finals..games are won and lost in the mids!

I wish I could afford that luxury. =/

Fireballz

Please get Swan and Suckling nails! Sucks may have the bye coming up but they are the best players you don't have!

Nails

Yeah probably should have Fire... but I just couldn't resist the two non-byes...

Suckling = problems with his bye...

Puopolo, Suckling and Toy all probably out in Hawks bye  therefore if anyone is rested/suspending = problems.

Therefore I just pulled the trigger (busy tomorrow)

Heath Shaw and Rischi are now a part of The Nailers :) 5 trades = I want to make another downgrade/upgrade but I know that 3 trades is (realistically) too few...

That said if I downgrade someone say Someone > Callinan I'll be making ~150,000-200,000 and can turn someone into PREMIUM cover...

Therefore got an extra player on the bench therefore won't need to trade for next LTI and decent bench cover everywhere...

Someone like Scotland for Mid/Backs and Knights up forward...

Alka

Surprised you didn't go for Swan, but I can't fault the logic in getting two players with no byes. Looks like you were just $900 short of Shaw + Swan, unlucky!

Anyway good luck Nails, hope they pay off for you. Knights > Fyfe for forward/mid cover could be an excellent option for later?

Nails

Not getting Swan/Suckling because of one bye

and getting Rischi and Shaw because they'd help the eliminator might end up ironically being the reason I lose the eliminator...
