Not that I am into or have researched previous Generations of music, despite any of them have being taken, I wouldve gone:

Keyboard - Billy Joel 8)
Guitar - Eddie Van Halen ;D
Singer - Freddy Mercury (Queen) ;)
Drums - Lars Ulrich (Mettalica) 8)
Bass - James Jamerson

The last two i just googled (EDIT. including the Bassist) ;D ;D

I thought about all of them as well CF for my 2 lists but just couldnt squeeze them in.

I am glad you said you googled James Jamerson.  You need to be very researched about Bass Players to know who he is.  He is considered to be one of the founders of syncopation on electric bass (he also played double bass) and influenced a lot of bass players from the 60's, 70's and 80's.  Just not sure that he would fit in with the rest of your lineup

Yeah basically just picked guys from some
of my favourite bands. Yorke is an amazing vocalist! I didn't know many bassists but Flea would definitley be up there as one of the best :)

I had a hard decision choosing between Thom and Scott. Ian Astbury was the other guy I was thinking of for singer too (Cult).  Steve Harris was always going to be my 1st choice bass (he is my idol when it comes to bass players) but Flea was the other option discussed against Jonh Paul Jones.  JPJ got the nod cos Zep influenced me more than Chilli's.

All worthy choices
