best way to get ablett?

my current team is:
defense: deledio, heppell, hibberd, shaw, gibbs, puopolo, duigan   bench: goddard, adcock, buckley
mid: boyd, priddis, martin, hodge, d.swallow, swan   bench: , mzungu, wallis, jacobs
ruck: cox, smith bench: sandilands, j.tippet
Forward: pavlich, krakouer, goodes, i.smith , petrie, howe  bench: franklin, richardson, n.riewoldt
i have $148,300 and 10 trades left, i want to upgrade swallow to ablett but have to find the money some where, any suggestions?

I would look at downgrading Duigan or Buckley to Lisle or Golby

Be interesting how long Buckley lasts in the Collingwood side.

How much more expensive do you think the great man will get?

10 trades is nice, but I think you could use the trades and $$$ for better value.

Then again, Ablett can be a big winner!

I have encouraged a few people to try this experiment. If you have Boyd, see what your overall would be if you made him captain from the time you got him.

Try it yourself...you might be surprised!

Yeh I had to retract my statement, after looking at his team as a whole.

I think if you do bring in someone like Ablett, just make sure you are going to have enough to facilitate your other upgrades.

I still think your 2-3 premium forwards short.  I like to have an F8 as well.

You might be better of compromising and getting someone like Watson/Boyd who are both dirt cheap.

The likely trade targets would be

Buckley > who still has questionable job security
Z. Smith > at some stage

Had Boyd round 1.  I've been swapping between Boyd/Swan mate.  Will be swapping between Boyd/Ablett right now.

thanks, i will start upgrading my forwards after i upgrade heppell or duigan/buckley to fisher/newman next week
