Hasn't really dropped numbers apart from stkilda just been getting more hballs than kicks and less marks and tackles... Every1 goes through a roughpatch
Dalsanto averaging 3 or 4 more than Stanton hardly worth 50 k

Second half of last year was the same as his problem this year. Although his average over that stretch was great (113), and his great games are awesome, 6/11 (2nd half of the year) were under 90 (the absolute minimum that you want for a midfield gun I would have thought. He can be a great DTer but I value consistency above all else...Still each to his own.

That said as well, I would take Stanton over Cooney in DT (although ironically I have Cooney as my last mid as he was just too cheap to ignore a little while back)...

Stanton is AT BEST a sixth mid. Unfortunately I've added S Thompson as my sixth mid, who sh*ts all over him (despite similar consistenct worries).

If you're trading in Stanton now I believe you're using blind hope as a lifeline and will finish somewhere in the 20K - 200K mark. Good luck.

BTW, this is what constitutes my midfield: Ablett / Bartel / Swan / Cornes / Hayes / S Thompson (Muston / Barham).

Wouldn't pi$$ on Stanton. He's had his breakout year and he's simply not good enough to go with the big boys. Personally, if you're pinning your hopes on luck, I would look at S Tuck. His last 10 games last year were something to behold, and he has started his run earlier this year - 5 games in a row over 100, AND he goes big when he is not marked.
