Marcz already picked Jarman earlier and you yourself BB have already picked Rick Davies....  ::) :P

LE, nobody has picked Curcio, so you're fine.

I'll start doing my write-up now...  ;)

My 20th pick for the All-Time Draft is...

...."Nipper".

William "Nipper" Truscott was one of the original "superstars" of the game, playing over 400 matches for East Fremantle and Mines Rovers between 1906 and 1927.

Originally from Sydney, his family moved to Western Australia due to the gold rush. Up until this point, he had never heard of Australian rules football.  :o Being a rugby player, he picked up the game quite quickly and joined Mines Rovers in 1906 in the Goldfields League, which at the time was considered one of the toughest leagues in Australia.  :o

In 1908 he'd receive his first accolade, a spot on the Western Australian State of Origin team. This would the first of FIVE state of origin representations (a record that still stands today).

In 1913, he'd move up to the WAFL and join East Fremantle, where he'd play for the next fourteen seasons and become one of the greatest ever centreman to play in the WAFL. Two amazing stats would come out of his career at East Fremantle, I thought I'd share with you:

  • He would play in 10 Grand Finals (unfortunately winning only 3 of them) in 14 seasons.  :o
  • In 1927, he would make a comeback to East Fremantle at the ripe old age of...41.  :o

Truscott was a player of the highest order, a champion centreman and true legend of the game.

His career acheivements:

  • Over 400 games for Mines Rovers, East Fremantle and Western Australia between 1906 and 1927.
  • Captain of East Fremantle from 1916 to 1922
  • Coach of East Fremantle in 1925 and 1926 (player/coach)
  • East Fremantle premiership player in 1914, 1918 and 1925
  • Western Australian representative in 1908, 1911, 1914, 1921 and 1924
  • Is a member of Fremantle's (legend), Western Australia's (legend) and the AFL's Hall of Fame.
