Great pick BBoy- Did he ever leave Tas?
I'll let you make the pick. Only fair given Tassie was a top 2 state through the 60s and 70s.

Nice pick.
I'm still stunned by the amount of modern players being picked though!

My sixth pick in the all-time draft is...

...Sticks.

Stephen Kernahan played 136 games and kicked 290 goals for Glenelg in the SANFL during the 80s before being selected to play for Carlton in 1986. He would then go on to play 251 games and kick 738 goals for the Blues, finishing with a tally of 403 senior games and 1133 goals (included are 16 games and 105 goals for South Australia).

He was influential at centre-half forward, kicking vital goals when needed. IMO, he third best centre-half forward behind Hart and Carey.

His career acheivements include:

  • Glenelg Best and Fairest in 1983, 1984 and 1985
  • Glenelg Leading Goalkicker in 1983 and 1984
  • Carlton Captain from 1987 to 1997 (a record 226 games)
  • Carlton Best and Fairest in 1987, 1989 and 1992
  • Carlton Leading Goalkicker from 1986 to 1996
  • All-Australian 1985, 1986, 1988, 1992 and 1994
  • State of Origin BOG Medal winner 1984, 1988
  • SANFL, AFL and Carlton Hall of Fame inductee
  • Carlton "Team of the Century" Captain

With an achievement list like that, he just had to be a part of my team. Depending on how further picks play out, he may move up forward, but for now, my team looks like this:

FB: -----, Regan, -----
HB: -----, Whitten, ------
C: -------, -------, -------
HF: ------, Hart, Kernahan
FF: ------, Doig,--------
Followers: -------, Dyer, --------
I/C --------, -------, --------, --------
