Pick number 7 for 'Sid's Side' is:
Keith Greig

One of the best wingmen ever to play the game, Greig used his blistering pace, pinpoint kicking and wondrous evasive skills to his advantage. One of the most exciting and damaging players throughout the Kangaroos era of domination Keith earned the nickname 'Racehourse.'
Throughout his 297 games with North he achieved the following:

• 2 Brownlow Medals (73-74)
• AFL Team Of The Century
• State rep 13 times
• 1 Premiership
• 1 Syd Barker Medal
• Member of the AFL Hall Of Fame

One of the most celebrated players to play in his position, he is considered by many to be the best wingman ever.

The 8th play to join my team is:
Wayne Schimmelbusch

Instead of giving you my own write up for Schimma, I'll give you this quote from his profile. It shows exactly why I am picking him - He is a player who will break his back in an effort to get my team over the line
QuoteOne of North's favourite sons, Wayne was recruited from former VFA club, Brunswick, where he had won the Field Medal. He was capable of holding down several positions on the field but over his long career North got the most from him on the wing or on the half-forward flank. Though not spectacular, he was relentless, more correctly courageous, and these qualities were captued by a superb photo taken of him being greeted by his jubilant coach John Kennedy. He is absolutely exhausted, having given his all to lead his players to a stunning victory over the more fancied Carlton in the Elimination Final at VFL Park in 1985. Under his dedicated captaincy, the Kangaroos, who had been trailing at three quarter-time by 17 points, kicked eight goals in the final term to run out winners by 19 points, and keep their premiership hopes alive.
He brings pace and an ability to kick goals to the team, as well as immense courage and dedication.

Well C4, their team from the 70s fits my plan, however I'll be going a touch earlier with my next couple of picks.

Your plan intrigues me, even though I have no clue what it is.  :P

Boomz

I have a plan too in case you can't tell :P

It will become pretty obvious as we go one :P
Schimma kinda goes off it a bit but still met the right parts of my criteria ;)

I can see it BOOMZ.
I have been watching everyone very closely :K

roo boys!

Including me? :P

Hilly's next pick is:
Edward "Carji" Greeves

The fact they named a medal after him is praise enough I think...

And that's all the picks Hilly has given me :-\

Bit early IMHO but a fair pick nonetheless.
I suppose from here we continue under my earlier suggestion unless someone has a reason not to?

Or I could just pick horrible players? ;)

I was going to take another Mid but I didn't want to make Alex cry :P and I need a FB so...

Ian Mckay :)

Started out as a CHB and was a great one at that but moved to FB & was even better... Consistently shut down Coleman in state matches too & was a major reason why SA were more competitive in that period.

164 games and 45 goals for North Adelaide 1946 - 1955
Captain of North Adelaide 1948 â€" 1955 (club record)
Magarey Medallist 1950 - First Full Back to win
Best and fairest of North Adelaide 1950, 1954
Captain of South Australia 1950, 1951 - 14 Matches
O'Halloran trophy 1946 - Best player in the state game
