I thinnk the best answer to this question is : wait and see.
While we have all marvelled at their illustrious careers, perhaps one will rise to the top with premiership success as a coach.

I think if Bucks goes to Richmond and coaches them to a premiership then he is a god. ( this is clearly the biggest current challenge in AFL history! )

If being God is the biggest challenge in the history of AFL, Gary Ablett senior already did it!

How does Robert Harvey never get a mention in these conversations? Does 2 Brownlow medals + being the hardest running midfielder + best ball winning ability not count for anything? I'm not saying he's better then Voss, Hird or Bucks, but I think Harvey is certainly right up there with the best. Yes, I know Harvey hasn't won a GF, but we are talking about individuals here and not the team and Harvs' has won the best individual honour...twice!

Frustrates me when people don't acknowledge the great man!

Fine Print **Perhaps I'm looking through my Red, White & Black glasses here, com'on- he is a gun**

OK hibbo, I'd like to see him in there. Is maca still around to reset the vote with an additional option, or do you want to start another vote?

Was it Dennis Cometti who used to say Harvey was "the most accurate 20 meter kick in the league"? I had him in my dreamteam at least two years running - apart from the odd injury, he was up there with his namesake from North Melbourne.

Harvey was a superstar, and while not playing, if the Saints can pull it off this year, he'll take great delight, and should also take some glory at least as an inspiration to the current playing group.

haha no, nothing needs to be re-done. But I just wonder why people never mention Harvs' in the same bracket as Hird, Voss and Bucks'.

The Fat's totally agrees with that one Hibbo.

Maybe it's got something to do with the others not crying like a Lyon when they retired.  :'(

hey guys

To me premierships say nothing about how good a player was. u only have to be in the best 22 to win a premiership.
Bucks and Hirds are fighting it out for first and no im not going to reset the voting.
Harvs was good but just fell short of these 3.

How so? You say Premierships mean nothing, so then how doesn't Harvs get a go? He has won more Brownlows then the lot of them.

bucks and voss have moved on, what about lazy old hirdy.
