Tricky trade situation.

Which option?

Duigan/Stanley > Broughton; Harris > Nicholson/someone cheaper; + ~50k
Harris > Pendlebury; Duigan > Howard OR Darling > Howe OR Stanley > Nicholson
Harris > Nicholson; Tapscott > O'Keefe/Pavlich OR Darling > Chapman/Fyfe

13 trades left. Have been slipping down rankings recently and losing a couple of league games but have a few trades more than some.

BACs: Gibbs, Deledio, Goddard, Suckling, Heppell, Lower, Puopolo (Stanley, Toy, Duigan)
MIDs: Boyd, Swan, Bartel, J. Selwood, Cotchin, Ablett (Harris, Jacobs, Mzungu)
RUCs: Cox, Z..Smith (Sandilands, Hale)
FWDs: Goodes, Sylvia, Franklin, Riewoldt, Petrie, Darling, Krakouer (Tapscott, Matera, Richardson)

As you can see I have a serious forward-line bench problem, and copped a 0 last week with Franklin.
My MIDs are already pretty strong but sorely missing Pendlebury. Cotchin could provide reasonable bench cover for rest of year.
I also have a couple of fattened cash cows in the BACs namely Stanley and Duigan.
I care about my ranking but am mainly in it for league wins so not too keen on players who have byes in rounds 21-24, although I can make a couple of exceptions for Cats.

PowerBug

Harris >> Pendlebury , Duigan >> Howard.

yorgis

if you get pendles this week, which mid will you bench after pies' byes? [cotchin?] personally i would downgrade either

matera>>>> howe or, duigan / stanley>>>> nicholson [mpp def/mid]   ----  and upgrade tapscott/darling or,duigan /stanley

hope that makes sense

I voted the 3rd option. Having Cotchin as a bench player is a luxury move at this point. Looks like u have 2 upgrades in both the fwds and backs to reach a full premium team. Id be looking to get in a Chappy/Fyfe type this week.

I agree with your logic BillyBass, it's just bugging me knowing that Pendlebury will probably go up significantly this week. As I mentioned, Cotchin would be benched - I agree, does seem like a luxury move.

Yorgis, why wouldn't you get rid of Harris at this point? Harris averaging 68 with two bad recent games and a breakeven of around 100.
On his side is that he has got 2 byes out of the way. The only other thing I can think of is if you think he will go BOOM against his old side? Which is definitely possible (see Nick Lower).
I agree that getting Matera out makes some sense since his price won't go up much more plus he's injured. But that's doubly so for Tapscott cos of his relatvely large breakeven. I'd want to be upgrading one of those two this week so I have cover if Buddy or anyone else withdraws this week.
I would probably rather give Howe another game to see how he goes, that 86 might have been a fluke. So possibly Matera/Tapscott -> Howe after this round.
Nicholson so far has been the sub twice but produced 1 point per minute while on ground, according to Fantasy Freako. That's elite status on the one hand, but on the other hand might mean he's the first one out of the side. Still I'm very tempted.
I could see Darling doing pretty well the next 2 weeks against Adelaide and Port. I know Stanley's price has plateaued but with no more byes for the rest of the year he is a good bet to provide bench cover for the rest of the season. Duigan is also fairly solid although will probably drop in price a tad this week.

So now, I'm thinking Harris -> Nicholson and Tapscott/Matera -> Ryan O'Keefe/Pavlich/Brennan (take out his first game and he's averaged 94)
