Yeah, I suspected they would only test him out for one week in B grade, imo, he'll start as sub for his first 2-3 games, and then be subbed off for the next 2-3.

He's been out for a year, needs to build fitness.

I'm backing slice n dice. Wishing injury on anyone is uncool, especially someone like Barlow who's taken a year to rehabilitate, and everyone pretty much loves.

Harvey is an idiot if he brings Barlow back this week
he got 15 touches in a half of footy for Peel Reserves in the WAFL, bloody hell my sister could get a kick for them
he should go a half to 3Qs of Peel 1sts or a full game in the resies for Peel, than start him on the ground for Freo in a few weeks and sub him at half time
the guy broke his leg he's isnt coming off a calf strain or "general soreness" he needs some run through those legs and playing a quarter of AFL is too much pressure for him.
remember this isnt a Nathan Brown or Michael Voss (both had broken legs), Barlow has played 14 games of AFL footy, hes no seasoned superstar yet.
give him a few weeks at Peel and wait for a 30+ possession game where he has comfortably done some decent gut-running and get some real confidence for him then bring him in to Freos line-up and actually start him on the ground!! starting him as a sub will drop his confidence and people will expect him to come on and dominate, which he wont.
I love Barlow, but give the guy a chance to develop
