OK my team is as follows

DEF Goddard Gibbs Delidio Heppell Broughton Newman Adcock ( Otten Toy B Smith )
MID Bartel Ablett Montagna Mundy Silvia Harris ( Hibberd Jacobs Mzungu )
RUCK Cox Smith ( McCauley J Tippett )
FORW Pavlich Goodes Franklin J Riewoldt N Riewoldt Rioli Petrie ( Knights, C Richardson I Smith )

I have 11 trades left, 350K in the bank and am only going for league ( i didnt manage my team during the 3 multi-bye rounds so my overall rank is disgraceful )
Obviously I am going to upgrade Harris, thinking to Pendles in rd 14...The Petrie-Tippett MPP gives me ruck cover...I am really concerned by my lack of bench cover in backline, but 4 of the 7 are Mid/Def, and I have Jacobs and Hibberd as cover if any of those 4 pull out...do i leave Otten and Smith alone for the time being, or trade ??

What else needs to happen with this team ? All help would be appreciated !

i would go b.smith/otten-> either nicholson (gives you mpp as well) or Howard from the dogs (im told he is gtd for the rest of the season)
and then harris into priddis.
Then maybe look at heppell -> fisher after saints last bye.

Youve waited this long with otten...may as well wait for him to come back which wouldnt be too far away I reckon.
IMO potentially to be at full noise during the finals you will need to trade Gibbs, Heppell, Bartel & Petrie..otherwise you risk coming up against a coach who doesnt have money of this sort on the bench. There goes 4 trades.
There WILL be general soreness during our finals to certain star players, you want to be able to trade these without having to stuff around with the players having a bye....
I would get in Priddis / Boyd (price wont drop that much...just do it) / Pendles (maybe wait for 2nd bye) to close out your mids then I would sit until around Rd 17 or so.....only trade unless you absolutely have to...there will be plenty of options for downgrades later...youve got the main cheapies with MPP set up...If you look at upgrading Heppel around Rd 17 to Fisher / Shaw (cutting out his bye) you will still have 6 trades (After trading Gibbs, Bartel & Petrie beforehand) to cover injuries and general soreness when it matters most...not quite 2 trades /week during finals.
Should put you in a good position to win all you leagues I reckon
