Stuff Dalembert, IMO he is too old for a team like the Kings. Just gonna hinder the development of the future.
Exactly, allthough he's a pretty damn nice player. Demarcus if he keeps his head right though will be an All Star. Just needs to keep his off court indiscretions to a minimum. Can he do it with a long lockout on the way and nothing to do haha?

Yeah lol. There are quite a few players that would have been awesome players by now if it weren't for off court issues. Michael Beasley and OJ Mayo are the two that come into my mind from recent times. Same year as D-Rose but look at the difference between D-Rose and those two now lol. Also look at Arenas lol. I reckon he would have maintained his star status had he not decided to bring guns to a locker room. You could see he was a totally different player after that.

So under the current rules and CBA we need to add another $8 - $10mil to our player wages to get to the minimum requirements.

The problem is, why would of a high profile free agent go to a team that's worse then theirs already, it can't be money because the team they're already at can offer them the most money + an addition year due to bird rights.

Things that don't work in Sacramento's favour -

- They're a small market
- They're relocating next year
- They aren't a contender
- Other teams can offer the same money that they can

I mean the best they're going to be able to do is gain a middle tier player. It annoys me aswell because I like Sacramento, they're just never going to get a CP3 or a Dwight Howard.

still need 4 more bodies on that roster so that will bring it up ;)

I think you answered in the wrong thread ;)

I agree with you that we most likely wouldnt get a CP3 or Superman but imagine if we did (prefer superman over CP3).  Also it's not guarenteed that we are moving next year.  So far the Kings have sold all suites for next season and season ticket sales are also up on last year (I have thought about buying a season ticket even though I wouldnt get to a game)

Which is disappointing to me because I read up on it and Sacramento have to refund all their ticket holders due to the lockout. It said something about interest as well.

Yao Ming retiring  :-\. Felt sorry for the guy with all them injuries. If only he recovered from his injuries like Big Z and became a role player so that he could have one more shot at the NBA.

This lockout seems to look worse and worse as it goes on.
Really annoying for me as I am heading the US at the end of the year and was hoping to catch a few NBA and NFL games.

Although the NFL lockout might get resolved, a full NBA season looks doubtful. Sucks as it is probably the only time I'll have the opportunity to see a live game.

The fans are the ones who are really getting screwed by this.

I still don't get the NBA Lockout... Someone wanna explain?
