He has played 7 games. Avg 102 this year. Avg. 94 last year. Looks to be over his injury. I know he won't kick 5 every week but scores look good. I would rather jump up to ROK or Harvey myself but just a little short on the coin this week. Is it worth waiting for Harvey to drop next week?

Are these good trades?
Lower to Enright?
Darling to Rioli?

Deledio, H.Shaw, Adcock, Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Enright
(Stanley, Pedersen, Jacobs)
Swan, Boyd, Selwood, Judd, Montagna, Bartel
(Mzungu, Bewick, Hibberd)
Smith and Cox
(Bailey and J.Tippett)
Chappy, N.Riewoldt, Franklin, Pavlich, Sylvia, Goodes, Petrie
(Rioli, Lynch, Richardson)

It would give me Rioli as cover in the fwd and then would be able to switch my MMP fwds to midfield to cover swanny/chappy and future byes.

Mate, his playing more small forward now rather than mid field as we had hoped preseason.

If Franklin is out again, I expect him to do well again.  However, my concerns is that he needs to kick 5 goals just to score 121...

I have him in my team from r1, but, if I didn't, I would probably be looking at other forwards.

Carn

Thanks Charles. Was hoping for ROK but am 8k short this week...  :(

charliesheen

like i am actually hoping he does well because he is in my team.

if you want to have a look at rioli, i would reassess over a few more weeks, rather than bring him in your team this week.

Hawks have GC twice, so I imagine he could cash in there.

Roughead is at a premium price but is a real smokie.  Been averaging over 120+SC the last 6 rounds since spending time in the rucks.

You need to have balls to make that move though

Better to upgrade heppell or something soon as he will miss in finals I woulda thought. Or save it for when sandi comes bck and get him. WOulda thought thered be no use bench sitting him and wasting a trade. Enright trade good tho

charliesheen

Heppel just misses out on the grand finale, thats agggggess away.  may as well keep him as an D7 for now and save some money on getting another premium defender.

i wouldn't go as far to say rioli is 'dependent' on goals for his scores, yea it bumps his score it certain games, but his opponent is always hanging off him; he is likely to get contested possies. and he seems to always hit targets and lots of F50 entries. last year when rioli came back from a hamstring layoff he went nuts for about 6 weeks in a row and he wasn't playing midfield just HFF! i started him and if i had my time i would of gone someone else but to answer the question - yes he is the real deal!!!!  i'm not 100% with boomer myself i'm considering him as my last forward upgrade. but is it his last season?? roos won't make finals, if its his last year he really should step down in the later parts, but i'm thinking he isn't the type to do that. boomer calling it quits early would really annoy some SCers!
enright is a good in! cheap as m8 - looks like ur going very well, how many trades u used and where u ranked?? u got good mpp cover, keep an eye on tags with his knee didn't llok too bad tho.

oh i would not be using rioil as cover, bring in didak for that and save some coin in my opinion!

Have you considered Lower to Broughton (instead of Enright)?

Broughton has got mid time last few games and scoring much better. Also no finals bye but Enright does.

pothead

Rioli will still make good scores even though he is going to play more down forward he did it last year and he is only going to get better.

charliesheen

The question is not whether Rioli will still churn out good scores.

The question is whether Rioli will consistently score better (supercoach wise) than the OTHER FORWARDS (sylvia, rok, goodes, chappy, etc_ available that are priced similarly.

Given he is spending less time in the mids, I am just not sure about that, and will need to see more before making a judgement...

PICCOLLO

Total gun and the price is right.  Hawks flying too.

diddley

had him from the start. disappointed with his time off, but been happy with him when he is on.

Thanks for all your comments.
Rioli won't be sitting on the pine if i get him in as cover as he will have to play for Swan the next 2 rounds then st. kilda have a bye so I will need him then too...etc...
As I already have many of the players mentioned in his price range (Sylvia, Chappy, Goodes) I think this fwd spot has to go to either:
ROK, Rioli, Harvey, Stevie J (to many cats), Fyfe (not sold on), J Brown (will get cheaper).

Rioli looks like  risk, with a decent reward at 422k.

I am ranked just outside of top 1000 with 10 trades left.

143k in the bank. Using 35k for lower to enright. Thoughts?
