Shortly after I left Buenos Aires there was a riot, does that count?

For the record, not modding atm, just a quick web browsing (facebook, news, footy scores). All of the credit belongs with ossie at the moment.

I can't make any ground on Boomz :\

This is still great fun though, kudos on a well run event C4 8)

Hello everyone! Ready for Round 4?  :D

Well Round 4 has a different twist this week. We're moving away from the questions just for the week, for a little bit more of a challenge.

This week is called, "The Super Happy Fun Mix n' Match Time Quiz Round Spectacular".

There will be 5 challenges this week. In each challenge, you will be required to match the club/name/year etc to its correct answer. For example, if the question was to match the following clubs to their names:

1. BrisbaneA. Power
2. EssendonB. Lions
3. HawthornC. Eagles
4. Port Adelaide                                      D. Bombers
5. West CoastE. Hawks

Now when PM'ing me your answers, you're response should look something like this:

Test Challenge: 1 and B, 2 and D, 3 and E, 4 and A, 5 and C.

Understand? Good. There are going to 5 challenges like the one above than range in difficulty; each with 10 options. The points are a little bit more complicated this week as well and I'll run through them now.

Each challenge is worth an 'X' amount of points. For every correct pairing, you will recieve 10% of the total points up for grab from that challenge.

For example, Challenge 2 is worth 4 points. If you only get 6 correct pairings, then you'll only receive 2.4 points. (60% of 4)

I'll then add the totals together and that will form your total score for the week. I won't be rounding scores up or down, it can become a little unfair and it'll help separate the leaderboard ;)

With all that explained, I guess it's time to get underway....

Round 4: The Super Happy Fun Mix n' Match Time Quiz Round Spectacular

Challenge 1: Mascot Manor (worth a total of 2 points)

In 2003, the AFL decided to give each club's mascot a name (I'd hate meet the person who came up with them).  ::)

c4v3m4n

Do you know what Collingwood was once called...

...the Flatties.

It's a stupid reason to call a team this, but it was because the suburb of Collingwood was (and still is) flat.  :P I could have also put in, "The Wobbles", "The Team Everyone Loves to Hate" etc.  ;D

Collingwood were featured in 4 other questions. Consider yourself lucky they featured in 1.  ;)

Boomz

Apart frm the last challenge it wasn't too hard  :D I only know what the bombers used to be called and a few others  :-\
