Joe Cole officially on a season long loan to Lille. Hopefully this will allow Eden Hazard to go to Arsenal!

Hazard to Arsenal, in my opinion, would have AFC able to compete with the big teams. It's good to see Wenger not scared to sign anyone over 24 with the recent signings of Santos and what looks to be one in Honda.

Just a question, it may sound dumb and obvious but players are able to do medicals at clubs after the transfer window closes tomorrow morning aren't they?

Honda not going to Arsenal according to his agent. He is staying in Japan with the national team and not flying to London for talks.

Well they could, but there would be no point doing the medical then as they have already signed the player. They do the medical to see if they are fit to sign on so not much point doing one after they have signed with the club. It's not like they could then change their mind about the transfer ;)

Yeah I remember the medical stuff happening after the deadlines in prior years. I think as long as paperwork is done it should be fine. Think it happened to Arshavin a couple of years ago but now I am reading that there were expections with him because of snow storm in England :-\.

Anyways, apparently Honda is in London for medical treatment on his knee according to the ESPN live blog but one can only dream!

Oh, okay. I thought it was just a requirement that players underwent a 'medical' to make sure they weren't suffering any disease or anything...? I dunno... haha thanks CF!

I hope it's a chelsea transfer, Sneijder or Ribery or Modric to Chelsea. One of them will hopefully come and it should be for 35 mill +

Looks like we'll be getting this young lad. From all reports he is a mini Gareth Bale. Pretty happy with this signing but not a priority at all! Bosingwa is killing it and Cole is the best Left back in the world. We don't need fullbacks AVB.
