Well as I'm sure you are all well aware, it was planned that a decision in regards to North playing 6 home games in Hobart over the next 3 years was to be reached today. Well, they have decided to delay that decision.

I am all for it. The money and extra supporters up for grabs is hard to resist. The roos agree, just need the government to agree about the financial benefits it would bring to them also.

I hope they come to the right decision for both NM and Tassie.

Boomz

Should just move there...

i agree i would love to see the roos move, maybee that's because im a WA roos fan. But i would love to see the roos as a financially stable club with lots of fans and to get a true home ground advantage. Its probably too late though as they have spent quite alot fixing up their facilities.  Much better to move than to continue to struggle or worse get merged, if we merged with port as some people have thrown around that would be the worse case scenario.

Just imagine the Tasmanian roos with the swallow brothers playing in front of a packed out home crowd every second week in which opposing teams are scared to come down to, such as the eagles at subi a few years ago. (Im probably dreaming but it would be fantastic too see).

I highly doubt they will merge. It is curious timing that the Hobart decision has been delayed though giving the news of the state of Port. If the AFL gets the franchise back, they may move it.

They wont move Port's license, they have stated many times SA will have two teams regardless.

You are most likely right, just a good dose of conspiracy theory here and there is a bit of fun.
