Really want to bring in pendles this week. Normal downgrades won't cut it for me so I was thinking

Sandi -> max Bailey/Nathan vardy
making me about 317k

Libba -> pendles
Costing 160k

Next week I can do lower -> adcock/lids

My rucks will be left as
Cox, smith
Bailey, tippett (mpp)

Mids
Swan, pendles, Boyd, bartel, Mitchell, Murphy.

Thoughts??

Thanks guys I just reckon that giving up the extra 20 odd points in the ruck is worth a rookie to a gun (potentially 30 points) in two other positions :)

I wouldn't do it. The negatives outweigh the positives in this instance:

Sandilands will come back in 3 or 4 weeks. Although he will drop in price when he returns, you will most likely need to make another downgrade to be able to afford to get him back in
Smith has been in great form but is still a rookie and will eventually have an ordinary game (just like Libba did)
Pendles has a bye rnd 13 meaning you'd have to cover for both Swan and Pendles

Who are your forwards LE? Have you got Petrie?

if so Sandi > J. Tippett.

Petrie > Second ruck for Tippett.

then do your upgrades imo.

If I go with my original plan nails I'll have a ruck department of:
Cox, Smith
Bailey, Tippett (with Petrie in the Fwds)
I'll only have to cover swan/pendles/didak come round 13. With mpp I should be able to cover sufficently.
The thing stopping me is when Fraser returns...

some idiot said to me a few weeks back that trading out Swan was a stupid idea
since then Swan has scored 96, bye, 115, 94 and 89, and now they recon hes gonna be away for 3 weeks around the bye
i was looking at Watson and Selwood, was leaning towards Selly in the end coz of Essendons bye
and since then Selwoods had the bye then 124, 121, 122 and 116

do the trade LE, u may reget it either way, but least u took the risk

plus i disagree with most saying Smith will fall, sure hes a rookie, but this kid wouldve gone 1 or 2 in last years draft if GC hadnt already got him. He is a super talent, a dominant ruckman and can kick goals!
the real test will be this week when he comes up against Cox and NicNat

I'm coming for top 1,000 too. Sitting 7,518 at the moment...

Scored 2,097, 2,215 and 2,231 over the last 3 weeks... The Nailers are coming hard :P you might struggle with me coming to destroy you ;)

Im thinking of the same thing, moving petrie into the rucks for the cox petrie combo and having smith and bailey as very solid back up
