I can't wait to see Jimmer play and see how he adapts to the NBA. Valkorum do you think it will be a problem since Jimmer and Evans both need the ball in their hands?

I am a little worried about that.

I think it will work out well between those two, 2 guard suits Evans a lot better imo

But both Evans and Jimmer like the ball in their hands.  Thats the part I am worried about.

I really hope that one of Samuel Dalembert/Nene/Tyson Chandler comes to Miami, I ranked it in most likely to least likely. I highly doubt the latter two come to Miami, but Dalembert is a very strong possibility.

Gay lockout though ffs....

Dalembert would need to take a serious pay cut to go to Miami.  He is on $14mil a year at the Kings and there is no way Miami will be able top pay even 50% of what he is on.  Prob $3 - $4mil

Yeah I heard somewhere that when the new CBA agreement comes into place, it is mostly likely that the mid-level exception will be gone. Unless Dalembert is thinking that all he wants to do is win a ring and be willing to take minimum money, I think it will be hard as for the Heat to keep him.

DARE TO DREAM

If we offload Dalembert (which looks most likely), we would have plenty of cap room to put a max long term offer to Howard as a FA.  Imagine this team:

C: Howard (Whiteside)
PF: DMC (Hickson)
SF: Salmons (Honeycutt/Green)
SG: Tyreke (Garcia)
PG: Jimmer (Thornton)

I think the addition off Howard would make us playoff contenders instantly.  Thoughts?

Howard is the most dominant center in the league atm so I think his addition will make most teams a playoff contenders instantly IMO. I am still not sold on Salmons though :-\.

You obviously don't have a good understanding of the current NBA CBA, or what is likely to happen with the new one.

With the MLE Miami can make a offer of up to 5.8 million a year, raising by 200k each year.
or
If Dalembert decided he would like to go to Miami, Sacramento can then sign Dalembert and trade him for Mike Miller + someone else (perhaps Joel Anthony), which would allow Dalemberts salary to be 6-9 million atleast.
This is whats referred to as a sign and trade.

I think there's not a chance in hell that Dwight Howard is going to Sacramento lol, add to that, Demarcus Cousins is way too big and slow to be a power forward.

I dont mean to be rude but the talks in the new CBA has MLE's changing (or even going altogether).  If thats the case then Miami could only afford to pay $3 - $4mil

Hence why I said "DARE TO DREAM" at the beginning.  If we did get Howard the you would have to play DMC at the 4
