Well Bermuda won their T20 last night and are now 1-1 for the tour so far, as is every other team in div 2!! :o Currently we are top cos of NRR, so hopefully we win the remainder of the games to promote to 1 :)

In Wilkinson news he had a horrible T20 debut. Opened the batting for South Africa on a flat pitch and was dropped second ball, then got out the following ball for a duck :(

So Jimmy had an awful T20 campaign. Played just the 3 matches and faced in total 10 balls!!

First game as already mentioned got a third ball duck opening the innings after being dropped the ball before.
Second game again opened the batting. Scored 2 then 6 then caught on the third ball.
Third game gets dropped down to 6 in the order. Comes in with just 4 balls left in the innings and gets dropped first ball he faces! Then hits a 4 then 6 then 1 to finish 11 not out from 4 balls.

In total he scored 19 runs from 10 balls at an average of 9.5 :(

Unlucky campaign by Wilky :(. Lets hope it doesn't deter the managers from selecting him for the next tour :).

Williamson played 2 games, the first and last game on the tour. 6 runs scored and no wickets taken in those games so not a great tour by him either.

Complain that he didn't play enough and that's why he played so bad.  :P Bad luck CF, Wilko will do better nxt tour (if he tours which he should)

Not complaining as happy to take the extra Experience into him now as he may not feature alot in Seniors next few seasons.

Just had my 1st player selected for a touring squad - 18yo Alpin Hill has been selected for the upcoming U19 One Day Tour.  He is the only 18yo selected in the touring squad.

I completely agree - I was stunned to see the mail in my mailbox saying he has been selected.  I can only assume he is getting some game time (in the last tour of the season) because he will be the keeper for next years WC.

Congrats valk. In other news Wilkinson has been left out of South Africa's touring squad... I'm hoping it's because he already has good experience and they're trying to give it to someone else, and not that he is out of favour... :-\

Last tour of the season and Wilkinson wont be in the squad for next seasons WC.  You can (sorta) understand the reasons.

I am assuming that my player will only get 1 or 2 games this tour.  Testing the waters
