Ok, well we haven't really discussed this yet, but I'm sure we will after the WC.

The challenge was probably sent by Triplelite who I know has a lot of involvement with the Aussie community. Whoever it was, we'll sort it out b4 the game.

Fletch, did you send the Bermuda challenge?
No, wasn't aware we had sent a challenge. Not even focusing on that ATM for obvious reasons.

Find out who sent it, and ask if they have any plans as to the team they are going to field. Given it is after the WC and as I will be running for the election, I'm going to do the orders and look to play younger guys who will be likely replacing older guys in the squad on a more permanent basis.

Actually, nevermind. You just relax mate. :P Baz can do it haha :D

Yep I'll do it .. wait a minute - what do I have to do?

Alright, just get back to me. Would be nice to actually have a match with some sort of guidelines given the future tenures at hand.

8-6 Suited

End of over 13 (7 runs) - USA(55-5). 202 runs required from 37 overs. RR 4.23 RRR 5.46
A. Price 1 (1b) , J. Moore 10 (13b) , W. Crane 2-0-9-1

Dominating performance... Just like our economy being better than the Yanks, our bowlers are just too good.

USA were bowled out for 63. o.O! The lowest score of the WC, after all the bugs even where Sri Lanka put the previous lowest at 70.

Not too displeased with the result as we were resting players for tonight's game against Pakistan to see if we can fill one of the 7th/8th spots in the quarter finals.

So, it's between Pakistan and Bermuda to finish 3rd. Pakistan need to beat us big time as their NRR is not so good if they want those 2 remaining spots.

Interersting that South Africa may miss from that group.

Not really. There was only 4 teams in the hunt for the top 3 which would be Australia, UAE, Scotland and the Netherlands. Even then, the dutch were still a borderline chance as they tend to overperform more often than pure strength suggests. UAE have got probably the best spin attack in the game, while Scotland have a very strong Fast bowler attack given they have taken 4 of the fast variety as well... But the pitches weren't really suitable for it so no idea why they did.

Hopefully the aussies can finish 2nd and avoid a tough quarter final match

8-6 Suited

We'll be fine Cookie. Fatigue is our only issue as we have been batting first putting up big innings which are taking their toll.

At least your bowlers got a rest last night ;)

cookie311993

Hopefully shaggy. Dont want to be unlucky and get a tough draw in the quarter-finals. Usa were disappointing last night. Would have been better if they batted first fatigue wise

Fatigue wise our bowlers aren't too bad given it is into the 5th game of the week. But our bats are a bit worse for wear.

We only have 1 bowler on Passable, with a few on energetic and revived. But we have 5 passable batsmen and the rest are energetic. None on revived. o.O!

Although we do have one of our keepers on rested. :P

cookie311993

Hopefully bowl first tonight and nathan throws the game for both teams to save fatigue
