They do exist :P

Lol :P At least with Bermuda anyone who tries to find us usually gets lost in the Triangle.

Anyone can come ashore to Australia :P

Cheers for the support Valk ;)

Fair point lol But they end up in Christmas Island, or some detention Centre rioting.

Very disappointing result last night against Ireland

Result: Ireland won by 8 wickets

Bermuda Ireland
Batting - Top Order: 12,403 12,737
Batting - Middle Order: 11,494 9,904
Batting - Tail: 6,871 5,384
Bowling - Seam: 13,466 (4) 13,271 (4)
Bowling - Spin: 12,516 (6) 13,542 (6)
Fielding/Keeping: 12,710 13,010
Overall: 218,809 212,914

We were 0/39 after 4 overs and eventually ended up with 136 after 20 overs on a flat... Yuk!!!    :-X

Not surprisingly Ireland smashed their way to victory in 14.4 overs. Terrible considerign the ratings advantage  :-[

Not good Fletch.  Do you think fatigue had something to do with it cos the Irish most likely rested their good players in the previous game against England

Fletch74

Not particularly, especially in T20, but their tactics were good. They  setlled our openers down after the first 4 overs to very slow RR, which was surprising, then our usually good middle order just failed to get the RR back up again.

Should be a lot better tonight against Bangladesh with Stiglitz and Pichu back. Pretty happy with just staying in Div 2. Can imagine that Div 1 would be a slaughter.

What were the batting orders on your top 7 Fletch?

Fletch74

N, D, N, N, A, N, A

The N and D scored 39 off the first 4 overs, they were still in then too. Depends on what Irelands tactics were as well.

Not too disturbed, Jako will be making the orders tonight hopefully.

Personally, I would have had the first 2 the same... But been more like this:

N, D, A , N , N , N , D

Fletch74

Well I had to rest some of our more attacking players, so I played one further down the order and rested one. It's all about management of fatigue.

Well, Ireland must have had their guns on A, they came out firing and kept it up. It's all experience though ;)

8-6 Suited

Actually, you would be surprised that they probably didn't have them on aggressive. The lack of RR pressure early due to coming out firing allowed them to take chances and continue it on.

Fletch74

Well, I would have thought the same would have happened with us... We were 0/39 off 4 overs ???

But being the team setting the total, there was no pressure except that from the bowlers.
