Perhaps its time to ask Jak to step down if he doesn't have the time for the top job and get it yourself.
I'm sure he'll be ok. He's just been away, but it's people like Mewtwo who've been around for a long time, who've just decided to disappear because they have other things to do.

I appreciate the support, but I don't think I'm ready yet, plus I wouldn't probably have the time myself...

Doesn't really take a lot of time, not in seniors anyway. Generally you would have your squad already sorted, then it is just a matter of rotating in a few outsiders every now and then. Scouting takes little time once you know who is coming through and training plans are simple.

That's no problem. I've already done a little scouting, but pretty much all to no avail as there hasn't been much discussion in relation to it.

We'll see what happens in the lead up to the WC as to whether I would apply or not.

You are doing a great job Fletch. I'd love to be an assistant next season if the opportunity arises.

Well you could be if Mewtwo and mick don't stay on.

Definitely wouldn't hurt your cause to get a bit more active on the game forums, particularly threads relating to tours Fletch.

Well, that's where I don't have the time.... I'm actually at work, and at night, well family etc, takes precedence.

I'll take a look though ;) Thanks for the tip though.

Oh I totally understand that, but only takes a couple posts during the matches in process, a few comments every now and then through-out it, and you get your name across to other managers that you are the active one. And that you are up to the job.

Don't need to be a regular. Just there when it matters.

Fletch74

I don't normally get on during the matches as they're at night. Will have to try then.

You are already doing it in the Bermudan section where it is clear, there is little public forum activity from both teams. Even being a small minor nation, they should be trying to get people interested in coming over, and the key to that is activity where people will see it. Off-Sites aren't a great step to do that, because it encourages people to post away from the forum where it is important to have the image.

As long as you make posts in the threads, it will have the same effect. You are doing that already which is great for you.

As for the scouting, take it upon yourself to send messages to future prospects. Ask them about their training plans for the player and where they see this player being in a couple seasons. Generally, you will get their thoughts then a question asking for yours. Thank them for their time and perhaps you can get another active supporter out of them. :P

Cheers Shaggy ;)

Would love to, but that's the time constraints issue again. Will work at it though if I get time. I fully believe in what you're saying. Just hard to do it all if you know what I mean. I am studying as well as working and having 1 infant, 1 teenager (2nd infant) and a 3rd, my wife :P

All is good, will do my best to post at times, and follow up on scouting, but whether I could be stuffed being the manager, that's another story.

Yeah, I understand the pressures that come with it all mate. We've spoken in the past about all that and I am fully behind you. You are a great bloke and I have no doubt, given the time, would be a fantastic NT manager.

I think you are doing a great job for the mighty Bermudan Nation.  I have been a follower of Bermuda since day 1.  I had a crack at being an U-19 Assistant but had to step down because of time constraints so I understand where you are coming from.

You are definitely active and dedicated to the cause.  I am sure the boys will be back in time (maybe they are deliberately stepping away to test you :P)

Bahhhhh Bermuda sucks. All they have got going for them is the Bermuda triangle and even then, no-one knows where it is. :p
