LOL .. so why bother wasting your time if nips isn't going to listen to you anyway   :P    You should just let him dig his hole and put your hand up for The Nat managers positions again at the next elections

I'm sure that judging by what Shaggy and others are saying, you will be a certainty to get the role after the next U19 WC.

8-6 Suited

I can understand why he wanted to help out his country. nips has already dug his hole haha but whatever, his loss.

Also depends  on if someone higher up decides to run, like a legend of the Canada community as to whether or not Cookie gets it.

Bazinga

If a legend of the Canadian community decides to run, surely cookie will get an assistants role and be able to further his skills as a Nat manager. So it's a win/win situation for him.

at least i tried aye, thats all i was trying to see some results. If they win its a big boost for me inside the community. Just want another wicket to fall then hopefully will work out better

cookie311993

I feel sorry for nips now actually.  He doesn't seem to be getting much advice pointers or sharing of thoughts from the management team.  His assistants seem to be adding to the problem. Gonna be a long 2 seasons for them

8-6 Suited

He made the choices for who he took on. If it is failing then it is his responsibility to do something about it, and actually LISTEN for once.

cookie311993

Yeah but the assistants don't seem interested.  Not one assistant posted on off site about tour. Touring party was weak.  Left best bowler at home which was a seamer on seam pitches

8-6 Suited

So then he needs to replace them with active members of the community.

cookie311993

Ultimately it favours me.  If I can help him turn the side around I will gain recognition from the community.  Will be interesting to see if he keeps me on after today

As he said, he is only back to help with the Uneven pitch. He may be kept after that when nips realizes that he is an asset to the management team. He was the better candidate of the 2 and I think the past 10-11 weeks or whatever have proven that as far as the U19 tours and friendlies have gone.
Sure there is a conflict of interest but only if you let there be one. If you are 'professional' about it then there isn't a big deal. but the big difference about cookie saying things about Q is, Q left for the position. Cookie didn't. Cookie left to better himself. Second the position was gone, he didn't just jump to another county like Q did. He still hung around the Australian camp until he was asked to help out by nips.
Love you too shaggy, nice to know what you really think of me.

Not quite sure what you mean BB as I didn't say anything bad about you at all?
Shaggy, I am the one who lost my spot for cookie.

8-6 Suited

Not sure how that is my problem BB? Just because you lost a spot, doesn't mean I think any less of you. Cookie is the bette qualified for it anyway so at least you didn't lose it to a noob.

Its not, more the fact you saying that cookie should keep it. I would be screaming if anyone else but cookie got it.

cookie311993

You will get it back today bb I doubt he will keep me on

Did you get rid of your aus assistants role or was that never official?

8-6 Suited

No, I wasn't saying that he should keep it. I was saying he should never have lost it in the first place.
