Well the Bermudans decided to forget how to catch today. 7 dropped catches from 8 attempts!! >:( 3 were dropped by our keeper who has outstanding keeping summary, and the other 4 dropped by players who all had capable fielding.

The worst thing was those drops were really costly. Perez was dropped 4 times (yes 4 times) when he was on 0, then 16, then 23 and finally on 52. He finished not out on 113 ::) The other 3 drops were Dildar on 1 (ended with 15), Rahman on 0 (ended with 28), and Reddy on 64 (ended with 68). So plenty of runs leaked when we should have had them out.

Banga finished with 4 for 301 from their 50 on an uneven pitch. Just terrible all round!

Lost by 28 runs. So flowering bullshower!! We fail 7 of 8 wicket taking chances in the field, whereas they only fail 2. Stupid game >:(

So even with that ridiculous loss above we went on and won the other 4 games to win div 1 :)

Bring on the T20 WC :D

QuoteCongratulations!

Glen Quagmire has been selected for the Nat One Day World Cup, which begins on Mon 10-Feb.

I will have a little bit extra to watch during the Senior World Cup :) Quagmire to do well and lead Ireland to the final where they then lose to Bermuda. Would be good

Thanks Daz. Very happy to have made the final in my first season in charge of a nat team!

Yeah amazing effort by them! To be fair though their U19 team was definitely not one of the strongest, but being a T20 comp upsets occurred and they had their slice of luck. Hopefully that doesn't happen tonight...
