Why are so many people trading Higgins?

I just don't understad people trading out Higgins. You kept him all through injury and then he has 1 shocking game and everyone decides we better trade him. He will score you 90+ most other games after all he wasn't averaging 100+ before his injury for nothing. If you keep swanny though his 2 weeks off (bye/1 missed game) and then comes back and somehow scores bad will you then trade him?

I hope Higgins comes out this week and knocks out a 100+ score just to show everyone how dumb a trade they made.

Where have you been hiding.

SInce round 4 he has gone
Rd4 - bye
Rd 5 - 90
Rd 6 - injured
Rd 7 - injured
Rd 8- injured
Rd 9 - 29
Rd 10 - ????????

Averaging about 86 in the games he has played, and missed 3 others through injury.

I have higgins and still have him, but i can see why people are getting a little peeved.

Chelskiman

I traded him for Chappy in R7, so I'm fairly happy with that.

Red Dirtie

never had him, too weak soft pr@#k!

glad everyone burnt with him because thats the stuff i had to deal with years over.

Can not compare him with Swan, Swan = DT legend.

Gauranteed you will trade him out real soon! If you dont then you will suffer late withdrawals and theat epic '0'

Good luck anyway.

If you read my post properly I never said Higgins only has 2 weeks off I was refering to swan and thats my point exactly you held Higgins all that time he wasn't even playing and now he is back you want to trade him because he scores 29. If he had scored 90+ everyone would be saying how they are glad they kept him.

bundyboy

because he is just a softcock.....and you can only put up with his flaccid efforts for so long......

it is now or never if you are trading him....now before his price dives next week, and you can still get good value - or else you are making the decision to keep him the rest of the year, and running the risk of him suffering another paper cut or something to keep him out for weeks or underperforming due to blood loss....

GONE.....

Fenno

By the way I don't have Higgins just don't understand why others are trading him out after keeping him all through his injury.

bridge777

I agree....there are other areas in my team to look at fixing up first....and a player that averages over 90 when playing (not including the sub affected score) isnt one of them.

Watch him smash it this week!

Red Dirtie

It's because they want to win! and not to have any more heart aches and sleepless nights.

He will never be in my team ever!

glynman90

I'll be keeping him. If he wasn't playing this week I'd boot him but you can't hold onto a guy who scores 0, 0, 0, 29 (subbed) then trade him when he is set to play again this week. If he really wasn't right they wouldn't play him so I'm hoping last week was just an anomaly.

LF

maybe people had other problems to fix first theres been quiet a few injuries.i have higgins and the only reason i still have him is because i've had to do other trades e.g grimes and beause i had cover i left him on the bench.

nostradamus

He's like a marshmallow......when the heats on, he melts

Ok we know he will never be in your team now. But im not talking about the people who don't have him im talking about the people that do have him. I don't have him either but Im not being a smart arse cock about it. Everyone knows he is injury prone but now that he is fit and playing why trade him. He is a bloody good player when fit. If it wasn't for how injury prone he is I would have started the year with him.

But if I did have him and he was playing I wouldn't waste a trade on getting rid of a fit higgins I would hope he doesn't get injured and if he does trade him then.

Windigo

I'm keeping him.

Has had 1 bad game......But has missed a few. It's all in the past now..... ::)

Im not being a smart ass cock about it, its just being psoitive for all the coaches that do have him!

Your not fooling anyone by tolling dude! He is washed up, not 100% and a soft p#$ck  who you always get sucked in by him saying at the start of the year that he is 100% and it seems like all my injuries are passed me now, so you get him in he scores 2 respectable scores and then you start noticing on every game after he always has a bandage and then he's gone, doesn't deserve a spot in the top 7 Forwards!

Fenno if you haven't got him stop talking about him and let the coaches decides whats best for there team!
