Considerations:

1) Option 1 would lead to cash up to buy Chappy next week and Presty after bye
2) Going for league win.
3) Bloke Im playing this week I must beat or face never hearing the end of it
4) I know the DGs have more money to make, but Monty especially looks ripe for the picking...Chappy could wait another week...

Favouring Heppell to Jacobs and Libba to Monty as Swallow has no more byes...

Having said that, Krak has less $ to make, what's Lynch JS like?

Gah! This one is tearing me apart fellas! Help please! lol

Trading Heppel out is  insane. Your best option of those listed would be Krak > Lynch & Swallow > Monty

Smeghead

Yeah I'm hearing you, but he's made me my $. Is his 85 (and bye in GF which I fully intend to make) worth the $200K I can make DGing him considering his BE is almost at his avg? Insnt being able to pick up a Chappy/Monty/Presti better than holding Heppell?

Your suggestion is the other one I'm REALLY tossing up for sure, but Krak does have more upside and I'm concious of over exposure to GCS players who will lose most games...probably heavilly...

Havent decided, just posing the questions...

Smeghead

...at the same time, am I sacraficing my backline for my mid/fwds trading him out? 85 for def isnt too bad...

hmmmmm  :o

Right now I would say your backline is the weakest line. You are fielding 3 rookies right now, so you will need all the points you can get. Heppel may be a rookie, but has been consistent all year and outscoring premiums. In my mind he is a definite keeper.

Smeghead

I agree totally for this week. I do have Goddard to switch in for a Hibberd to strengthen it up if necessary, and Enright will be back in after his RDO this week, so it does look worse than usual this week, but I do still think it is the weakest line regardless... You are starting to convince me...  ;)

Dunham29

trading out Heppell to who? Not many guys are travelling better than him

Nails

Trading out Heppell is worse than trading out Swan atm and I'd consider you an idiot for doing it, if you did.

yorgis

if you need to beat your mate  and you want chappy go harris>>> jacobs  and swallow >>> chappy. swap  jacobs with heppell or hibberd to cover your def[ suckling picked on ext bench]

Smeghead

^^ Dont mind this in theory, but Harris and Swallow both have money to make still and Chappy is likely to drop some more after this week. Better positioning for my side I agree, but costly from an opportunity perspective.

Krak has cash to be made.  And heppell has been solid as a final defender in a season full of inconsistent defenders.

Wait till krak levels out.  But imo he is the perfect bench cover in the fwds, will play most weeks and has the potential to krak the ton (pun intended).

Smeghead

Yeah, Im not convinced on Lynch either...I mean this player is not going to be on field perma. Would Mzungu be a better DG in the Fwd Line perhaps? JS would be better which for me is more important that $ right now.

Slap

yeah, mzungu has a lot of hype on him, so I'd imagine they'll give him a chance.  Watched him play his only qtr of AFL last week and was near the ball alot to impress me initially.  Duncan > Mzungu would probably be your best pick.  Duncan won't rise or fall in price, but could be a handy players as your last fwd.  But thats what i'd do.  You'd earn cash from mzungu and pocket 200k+ from the downgrade.

Enough to wait a week or two and upgrade lower/swallow to a premo back/mid.

I reckon he has leveled out, or at least will next week, but not too much upside left in him, while Monty is at as cheap as he'll get right now...

Krak BE 55 and loses 113 from the equasion next week leaving him with 66 and 80 plus this week's score. Unless he does krak the ton, theres just not much more for him to do.

Agree RE Heppell solid. Have shifted away from that thinking...

You might have something there RE Duncan though. I had hoped he'd play on the ball more this year. Looks a good player, just not hitting the point scores i'd hoped for.
