With Ottens out for Geelong, there is no real ruckman to go up against Smith this week. Will he have a big one because of this?!
I always have the weekly decision of who to start out of Smith and Petrie... Another tough one?

Footy God

Id play over Petrie.

No Fraser as well=more points

browny_wce

he is gonna do some major chopping in the upwards direction!

Problem is, Petrie may well score another 120+ but is equally likely to score a 60... Will playing against Sydney damage his scoring?

yorgis

zac should do well against vardy and the useless tomahawk [ how this guy gets a game every week is beyond me, he's just

as bad as kozi ]

Yeah. Both are (were) great teams. If Geelong were stinking it up at the bottom. There would questions raised about Hawkins. Really does not know what his role is!

elephants

Agree about the spuddyness of kosi and tomahawk.

Smith should get another triple figure score hopefully but at least 80

Playing Sydney always damages the scoring and my eyes watching the c.r.a.p

hardnut

think Smith will go ok but would want Petrie on the field, downgrade to Jippett in the fwds maybe LaHug?

That's what I should've done, but my forward line is already set... Franklin, Chapman, Goodes, Pavlich, Harvey, Riewoldt, Dawes.
I will still do this later in the year so that I have good forward back up, but I think Petrie will end up being my permanent ruckman unless I get Sandi late in the season.
It's only rare weeks like this, where Smith is playing a ruckless team and Petrie is playing a shut down team, that my decision becomes difficult.

Holz

due to MPP i can start either smith or harris im not sure which one to go for.

Took me a solid moment to work that one out. I'd go with Smith for sure. I think Harris will get cruely beaten by the Geelong midfield.

Mumford is out which helps peetrees cause!

Petrie hardly plays in the ruck though. Much more of a full forward. Anyone know what Sydney's key defenders are like?
