Anyone know what's the go with his "Soreness"? I'm sure monty's mentioned it on the chat but I haven't heard it as yet. Just wondering if it's on the line of Higgins "soreness" that kept him out forever!

this is more just a general rest as he will take time to adjust to the rigours of AFL footy. i am pretty sure/hopeful that he will be named this week

LEV

lets hope he gets named. i pulled the trade trigger finger a little early last week and put him in my side! i know, i know, silly me.

elephants

Yeah same LEV.
Would be very surprised if he didn't return.

Dam Lev! Yeah I want to bring him in but don't want to get burnt. Even if he gets named he could pull out. I don't buy this being rested thing. He's 22yrs and 146, he's not a kid. He's played 2 games of AFL and now he's "sore". It's got to be more than that, at least say where he's sore. He played VFL against men last year where as someone like Heppel played against boys and is still really  a boy himself but he's made of tough enough stuff to keep fronting up. Erks me!

I need him in to make my trade plan happen.......

You could always go mzungu, but will have to wait an extra week for price rise. but based on his low 20's score he wont rise in price by a lot.  Smith has a BE of around -70 or so.  Expect a pretty solid price rise.

elephants

Cicjose already has mzungu. Started him against me last week in fact!

Cicjose

that or tappy..... last week as a last fielded fwd 21 v 14 i made the right choice.....

I am sure I heard during the game on the radio that Smith has hurt himself. I think it is real soreness but seeing as he played out the game you would think not serious and would be up for selection again over the next few weeks. Would think on form and with other injuries that once he is right would be a good chance to get games.

Rommas

Would be the same kind of soreness the Gold Coast boys would be having, a week rest and straight back in
