Hi Guys,

Silly question, but can someone explain how MPP works pls (1st year in Supercoach)  :-[

Obviously players that have dual positon you can slide them between multiple positions

How does this effect:
- Substitutions
- Trades

Many thanks

If you were to have petrie in your forwards and tippet in your rucks. You can swap across either. Provided you have a player in each section that can move to the other, you can move them, without it resulting in a trade.

Hey Kain,

MPP gives you flexibility to cover byes, as well as injuries. If you have, like I do, Fisher and Goddard for example in the backs, you would like to have a bench MPP in the mids (like Jacobs). This means that when the Saints have the bye you move Goddard to the mids, and you only have to cover one Saint not playing in each position.

Good MPPs are important to your structure, but you shouldn't trade them in just for the sake of it - you'd like them to be playing.

Tip; Get Ben Jacobs this week in Mid or Def, and Mzungu next week if he's named in Fwd or Mid if you need to free up some cash and flexibility! ;)

Thnks js much appreciated.(ive had jacobs from the start & got mzungu last week)

One quick question:
* I currently have jacobs in the backline, if i wanted to put him in the mids
how do i do this with one trade (not 2) without trading for a mpp player to sub with?

You can't sorry Kfewster.

The only way you can get Jacobs into the mids is if you already have a player in your midfield that is a MPP (a DEF/MID like Gibbs, Goddard, Delidio, Hibberd, Buckley and a bunch of others).

If you don't have any in your mids, you have to trade for one sorry.

To assist with who has MPP there is an excellent listing prepared in the SC Strategy Subsection list and Pros has kept it near the top well done..  Thanks to whoever did this where you can identify posible trades.  Obviously values have changed but will give you a look at possibilities.
