I personally think its wise to not gamble with too many players from team that have byes in the finals.

Also, if you got fyfe/pav for example and they average 95 and Chappy averages 105,

After the remaining 15 games (no byes) Pav would have 1425 points scored.  After 15 games (1 bye) Chappy will have 1470. So thats only 45 points more, and you don't get to play him week two of the important finals.

Factor in his injury proneness and perhaps its not worth it.

Its simply risk v reward.  I can see The Chap Man hit 120+ way more times than fyfe and pav, its just whether you can budget for LTI's and the trade out during finals if you need!

i have selwood and stevie j so no chappy for me - i cant have 900k of talent on the forward line benched whether league or overall as no 2 rookies are gonna get close to thier scores  :'(

I've got Tapscott and am bringing in Jacobs this week, so I'd have the cash to go Tapscott -> Chapman... wondering whether to do that, wait a week, go Tapscott -> Lynch or keep Tapscott for the season and go Darling -> Chapman next week.

I think Chapman can be waited on either way.

Well see this gives me another dilemma...do I save some money and go for Fyfe or splurge a little more and get Sylvia?

i have stevie j, selwood, bartel and will definitely be bringing in chappy this week. I can simply use one trade to trade stevie j for sylvia to help in the bye and the fact melbourne have the easiest run home of any team. It should be easy covering selwood and bartel with guys like hibberd, jacobs, heppel, mzungu floating around on my bench.
