Why do I get the feeling this will make/break my season.

I wish their was a safe option. Surely Mitchell would be the safest of the lot?

GAJ and Thommo have been the two floating around my head all week.

- I'm going Ablett as I see greater upside to him (has the capability to average 120+ when he's on) whereas Scotty is similar every year in that he'll post some beast scores one after another but then drop off with a few 60/70 odd efforts making his price basically always around the same mark.
- GAJ is nearly at a 90k discount and as I've said on other threads with his fitness steadily improving each week I think he could come home very strong in second half of season & for that he is amazing value.
- Thompson has the slightly better fixture but GAJ seems a better long term investment IMO. Also Thommo does have the multi-bye in rd 16 which could hurt if going for overall...

Very tough to split them at this current time  :)

Sorry, i have Mitchell already and sort of forgot to talk about him. He is must have considering the further discount you'll get on him in a weeks time. Proven gun and hoping he'll be able to run free from the dreaded tag lock this week... :-\  ;)

I went Mitchell becuase he plays for a good team who play a high possy game style in know his last scores dont back that up but i think he will be one of the higher scorers by the end. But he does still have a bye, really tough question all 3 great DTers go with your gut cant go wrong with any of them i reckon

Ablett V Thompson has been my toughest dilemma this year for sure...GAJ is my final choice and sticking by it  8)

Have you thought about marc murphy, he has only dropped bellow the 98+ mark twice vs Essondon and Pies, but he has an easy 3 runs of port, Birs, and Melb for the next three weeks. He does have a bye in the finals but i am sure that a rookie can cover it (only the semi final). He has Averages 113 for the last four and 109 for the year. im gonna go him this week.

if you persist to have in sam mitchell wait a week on it with a BE of 181 he is shure to fall another 20k or so
