I know the feeling mate......Murphy is very very tempting :)Ablett will come around the same price as Murphy to :)

I plan on picking him up after his bye probably. I don't think he'll be rising too much (from memory has a difficult draww until then), so I may be picking him up slightly more expensive, but with rioli, franklin and suckling in my side I can't afford to carry   another hawk premium through their next bye :(

me

lots of the teams up the top seem to have sammy mitchell which is the only thing discouraging me, i have gone for unique upgrade strategy so my team isn't identical to teams above me

i guess i could easily just lock down ~100th overall spot, but upgrading to common players won't give me the chance to improve on those above me

embley is also strongly coming into considerations i don't put a 100+ year long average past him given his form is as good as ever and the eagles are the best they have been pretty much since losing judd/cousins

LF

mitchell is only owned by 6% of teams so he is not a commom player.
what does it tell you if a lot of the top teams have him as well?
i`ve had him from the start has annoyed my the last couple of weeks but still glad i grabbed him.

me

yeah obviously he's a gun, but what i meant is, in most of the teams above me, sam mitchell seems to be pretty common so if i want to make up ground on them, i won't achieve that by trading him in as we'll just cancel each other out with him

AlexIsOnFire

I traded in Hodgey for 329k, bargain, and banged out a 103 to pay the faith.  Montags will complete my midfield this week

but if you dont trade him in, they may gain more ground on you :)

However, with his current line up (only two team until his next bye  - GC and Lions that he should really dominate), I doubt that'll happen. What you're best off doing is holding off until his second bye, then trading him in just before he plays melbourne. If his scoring continues the way I think it will, those teams in front of you should slide behind, then you can even it out with mitchell and keep them behind.

boom motherflowerer.

:P

too true me but if you have sammy they won't be 1 up on u hey? pick someone else and you'll either catch up or fall further behind. it seem's like while hodgey has started to pick up his form sammy has dropped

yeah, but that's the risk u take lol - it may or may not pay off, at least you give yourself a chance though

altho his dt scores have been worse of late, i don't think his form hasn't actually been as bad as his dt scores seem to indicate, he's still picked up well over 20 possies in the last couple weeks, it looks like the opposition tags are just taking away extra marking/disposals/stats which buff his scores over 100

Ziplock

* I meant in lol.

but yeah, the second part of my post shows why you shouldn't trade him in :)

I reckon Shiels keeps stealing his possies

elephants

Thats not true flop. Look at sammys first few scores! Mitchell has been tagged lately.
