hey guys looking at some options over the newt few weeks...

got 17 trades left and 60k in the bank

team is

backs: deledio, goddard, shaw, gibbs, duigan, lower, bock, heppel, otten, puopolo

mids: swan, bartel, cross, hodge, d swallow, harris, conca, atley, mzungu

rucks: sandi, petrie, z smith, bailey

fwds: pav, goodes, n roo, johnson, darling, knights, rioli, pretia, i smith, talia


i got many trade option in my head that i want to do just don't know how and wat to do first

def thinking otten -> jacobs then bock or harris ->
def want to downgrade pretia and upgrade knights too, i think, not sure if i want to keep kinghts or not!
also thinking atley ->hibbard
im happy not to trade rucks or unless i upgrade petrie

IMO you need an additional premium in each line which is where you downgrades and upgrades come into play.

This week do the downgrade to Jacobs but I would use Atley to Jacobs (only a 20k difference) to give you the Def/Mid MPP Link which you do not have at the moment and my come in handy during bye weeks.. 
I would also upgrade Swallow before Harris as McKenna is giving younger players a rest and he is possibly due just my opinion. Agree can not afford to have both

IMO, I think you MUST bring in Dean Cox this week, before he plays Collingwood.  2ndly you probably want to bring in B. Jacobs as well, probably through Otten - I don't see it as a high priority to have BOTH forward and back MPPs in the mid.

Those are probably the two things you should be looking at, what is the best approach to take, is still anyones guess.

Sandilands > Cox vs Petrie > Cox

I just have this suspicion the 4 weeks may actually go longer and go all the way through Freo's 2nd bye, so if you decide Petrie to Cox, it will mean you have no cover during the West Coast Bye, if Sandilands misses.

rigno- cheers mate sounds like a plan to have 1 more prem in each line, that will be a plan. not sure about downgrading atley yet, as he won't make me much money but at the same time i don't think he will make much more. i like your ideas abt swallow over harris and jacobs in mid, so may get rid of atley i guess. ha

charlie-im pretty happy to keep my rucks the way they are at the moment, will see wat i can do tho, will see about if smith gets rested too.

prosppector- nah don't kno mate, prob ebay, but will be way overpriced i guess.i got a list of things i want to add to my collection, but can't find them except on ebay, which is overpriced! but i'll drink it anyway it comes to me!

Trust me if you don't have cox now, bring him in.

When I say he is an absolute must, I am not messing around...

Currently, Cox has both the HIGHEST AVERAGE and HIGHEST OVERALL TOTAL in super coach.  It would be a massive disadvantage if you don't bring him in this round, or at least next round...

Up against Cameron Wood as well..

There is a reason people pick him every year :)

leaves me with 15 and 215k to upgrade someone to a prem!

still undeafeated in my league but ranked 8th in points and abt 70 000 overall

in the next 2 weeks got the top 2 point scorers in my league

im still not sure if i made the right move wtih sandi to cox but in the long run will prob be good!

wat do you reckon i should do this week?

im thinking swallow -> ablett

but there is so many more trades i want to do....so in a bit of a pickle i think

Not sold on GAJ as I suspect he may be rested at some stage so for consistency Swallow to Priddis or Mundy and neither has bye in finals.

yer im not sure if im completly sold on GAJ either, but i was always looking at having him and i think he would be a bit of a unique cos i think most ppl are put off by him.

i like priddis not sure about mundy tho, i think with sandi out freo are going to struggle a bit.

can affrod any midfielder except selwood, what you thoughts? or basically personnal preference?

should i keep my mid the way it is for a few more weeks and upgrade elsewhere you reckon?
other thoughs are upgrading darling or duigan

I think the mids are where the big scores are to be made so I would consider Conca/Harris/Swallow to Priddis. Just had a look at Eagles draw for the finals and am now sold on him Final 4 games Melbourne, Essendon Brisbane and Adelaide with Essendon and Adelaide at home and next 3 games are Gold Coast, Adelaide and Port with 2 of these at home.
Personal Opinion on which of three to upgrade as imo all three are close to maxing out.

You'e not getting the $50k, so look at the players everyone else has in the league. No one has priddis or mundy and only a few have pendles (in our league). Priddis has an easy run home, but dont be surprised when he throws in the odd 60.
I think trade for a back or forward now and wait a couple of weeks until coll have their last bye & then bring in pendles - that's what I'm doing.
It doesn't really matter tho because I will be straddling the top of the ladder in a week or 2 anyway. I don't even know why I'm giving my opinion haha

this weeks went atley -> hibbard and duigain -> malceski

malceski is someone who i wanted from the start and i took on varks works and went with a unique

im stuck with downgrades tho as i won't make much dowgrading some of my rookies as they havn't made much-prestia and talia, well talia hasn't even played yet

will dowgrade conca/swallow/harris next week and then prob get priddis for one

will prob go bartel as captain this week

once prestia makes more cash will downgrade to tippet and upgrade smith to sandi
upgrade knights at some point too
leave myself with about 5 trades for finals hopefully!

I would hold of Lower this week as his B/e is 80 which he is currently scoring.  I would however be seriously looking at trading out darling who IMO has maxed out B/e 89 so price may fall again. Also appears to be carrying a groin injury.
maybe this Trade Darling to Tippett
Switch Petrie to forwards and play Smith as second ruck.  He is currently scoring like a premium ruck 108 for last three games average. Harris to Boyd or any other mid up to $524k of your choice.
Then possibly sit on the 9 trades for a while as your team is ok with reasonable bench cover and you have read the carnage most people have with mid injuries, suspensions and byes are causing this week.
