Obviously over a 38 match season you would expect it to even itself out and so I agree that the three teams relegated all deserved to be relegated, that is why they are down there. They scored less points that everyone else.
I guess you are arguing that Blackpool shouldn't have been relegated because they played good football, which they did in part. They made it entertaining for the fans be playing attacking football, but by doing this they conceded far too many goals which is the reason they got relegated. I also don't expect to see them back in the PL for a while now, since they will lose Charlie Adam and probably DJ Campbell, who were their best 2 players.
So overall yes I think they all deserved to get relegated

Charlie Adam and Scott Parker have been stars for their now relegated teams this season. They were surely their team's MVP and two of the best over the season for their team. Will likely see them move to another Premier League team though before next season.

I couldn't really follow EPL due to getting the sports channels only 2 weeks before end of season so can't say much else :P. I would have preferred Blackpool to stay up ahead of Wigan as well but what can you do? Lets just hope they can come back season after next with the same attacking flare but get a little more defensive :P.

also, Chelsea's new manager?

Jose Mourinho, Guus Hiddink and Marco Van Basten have all been linked.

it will be great to get Guus back, but if Jose comes i will, well let me think, like this, i seriously wouldn't know what to say.

Ancellotti was like Knights, just gets sacked couple of hours after the match.

But yes, they did deserved to get relegated, that's the punishment for not playing as good, although Blackpool did beat Tottenham and the double over Liverpool.

Mourinho wont go back to Chelsea in my opinion. He keeps saying he wants to go back to England but pretty sure he means he wants to take over at United once Ferguson retires/dies.
Ancellot's fate had been decided a long time ago, basically once they lost to United. They just waited till the end of the season before firing him as there was no point doing it with 2 games to go

Based on personal opinion:

Blackpool and Birmingham were unlucky to get relegated.
West Ham happy they got relegated.
Though Wolves and Blackburn were lucky not to get relegated.

Wouldv'e expected Liverpool ahead of Man City this season, but Selling Torress and getting Suarez and Carroll were wonder moves.
West Brom were saved by Odemwingie's recent good form.
Newcastle were lucky to have Carroll in form while he was there.
Aston Villa's signing of Bent was very good and Sunderland were lucky to have Bent at the start of the season to get some good wins.
Elmander's injury and poor form towards the end of the season almost badly hurt Bolton.
Wigan would've finished higher. Roddallega and N'Zogbia in form = Very good wins.
Tottenham getting VDV was very good.

Manchester United also just signed De Gea btw!!!

Have no idea about Chelsea's new manager, i just hope not Mourinho.
Dalgish is there to stay at Liverpool. Did a good job.

I think he's been quite good consistently thoughout the season.

De Gea is a great replacement for VDS :o.

CrowsFan

Hasn't officially been confirmed yet, but seems about 99% certain he will sign, especially since SAF has commented on it.
Should be a great replacement since he is still just 20 years old. A little inconsistent at times, but as long as he doesn't let that get to him and United continue to stick by him he should be great :)

chrisuzz

I read today that it hasnt been confirmed CF... :-\ But if he goes its great for SM :P ;D

Aguero to Liverpool? but more likely to ManCity or Real Madrid :(
Hazard is expected to move to England too! :D
Aquilani is leaving Liverpool to Juventus!

Those are off my head, only know as theyre linked to Liverpool ;)

CrowsFan

Yeah I said that it hadn't been confirmed yet zz. But it basically is a done deal. SAF never comments on transfer speculation unless an agreement has already been made.
Which is why with united there is always so much transfer speculation but no official comments from SAF or anyone else at United because they are not allowed to talk about transfers

chrisuzz

Yehh true, i dont pay much attention to United ;) except watching them getting drilled the other morning ;)
Also saw that he is looking at bringing in three players he said, read it somewhere haha

We need the rumours/Transfers thread back ;)

CrowsFan

Yeah three players is what he has said. Hasn't specified what they are but an educated guess would be a keeper a centre midfielder/playmaker and a winger.

Well why don't you make a thread about it then? ;)

chrisuzz

Yehh maybe a defender buts hes got Rafael/Fabio and Smalling.
What you said is the most likely haha

Fletch74

Wales joins the EPL next year.

Go Swansea ;D Makes me feel a bit better as they beat Forest in the first playoff before knocking off Reading today.

CrowsFan

Woo I was going for Swansea over Reading :)
Really looking forward to watching QPR next year, think they are a great club and will do well in the EPL :D
