TigerBob

made plenty, out during DT grand final week, and has the highest BE of any future trade options in my team, and has a bye this week

probably going to upgrade him in the mids to montagna or mundy

thoughts?

glynman90

Crazy idea unless you have him in mids and can't swap him into backs for lack of DPPs. If you have him in your backs, think of what your backline will look like without him...most likely you'll have 2 rookies on the field.

EDIT: I know Heppell is a rookie too but he doesn't score like one so for DT purposes he isn't one.

hardnut

nope he's part of my backline permanently (until rnd 23 anyway). Get a gun mid via a mid rookie...

TigerBob

still think i'm getting rid of him due to the above reasons

i'm swapping heppell and gibbs mid/ctr, leaving a reasonable backline

Probably going double trade, toy > jacobs and heppell > montagna

team would then be

deledio, gibbs, shaw, goddard, suckling, duffield, lower (jacobs, puopolo, hutchins)
swan, boyd, redden, montagna, mitchell, higgins (harris, hibberd, prestia)
cox, petrie, (vickery, bailey)
franklin, riewoldt, knights, green, goodes, darling, krakouer (c.rich, smith, siposs)

No i'm not. But on a different note, will anyone be picking him up next year? If he keeps his current average (84.5), he'll be about 350k won't he? Could only improve you'd think.

Andrew

Nuts to be thinking of trading out Heppell...

Nuts to be thinking about next season already...

He's a definite keeper and looking at your current backline you have two arguable inferior players on field (Lower and Duffield). I'd hang onto him and maybe look at upgrade Harris when he's ripe instead.

considering he is a backman, he really is the Barlow of 2011, cant see any point in getting rid of him,, and on top of good scores he is mpp aswell.

bundyboy

surprisingly great scoring, plus mpp...makes him a keeper until the end for me...

as to next year...who the hell knows....maybe....he is certainly showing all the signs....and certainly better then some of the traditional guns....

yorgis

why would you trade him ? he's prolly doin'better than 1/2 your other backs and he looks to have great js. he would be the

last rook i would trade b4 the finals unless something unforeseen happens
