As we know Sandi is going to miss 5 more weeks of the year. He misses 4 then has a bye.

Erm, as far as my fixture list is informing me, there are 6 games before Freo's next bye. So even if Sandi misses 5 weeks he's surely a good chance to return v the Gold Coast before the bye? It could potentially be a tricky one where Freo give him an extended 7-week rest, but I'd doubt he'll need something like that.

I've got Petrie to swing into rucks anyway... would Bailey play every game from here on in? It's an interesting one because Sandi's price is still above $400k, would bring in the cash no doubt. But I feel that he'll be fit and firing again come DT finals time anyway and as such not worth mucking around with.

Funnily enough I posted the Cox/Sandi downgrade as an option to free up some cash and use smith in the ruck. I was shouted down for my suggestion and rightly so. i will be keeping Sandi and patiently awaiting his return.
